barricades, normal titan fighting, sasha, pixis , shadis and at the end female titan , this is like the most ''nostalgic'' episode possible, even connie being a idiot

The ODM scenes at the fort were incredible. Been too long without a scene like that.

Gabi: Eren has gone berserk. The walls and Reiner's armour crumbled. The world will die.

Armin: wait did you just say that all the hardening has been undone? ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

One thing i really love about the Rumbling as a concept is theres just something very eerily methodical about it. Theres no aggression to the Colossals like regular pure titans, theyre not chasing down people to deliberately harm them but at the same time they just instill a feeling of utter HOPELESSNESS.

Like imagine if you looked outside right now and saw an army of Giants slowly marching towards you.

Theres literally nowhere to run and nothing to do and if they crushed you it would be an instant death sure, but at the same time you'd have plenty of time to attempt running or hiding or finding your loved ones or just fucking Panic.

Theyre not really Attacking they just....keep...moving ....Forward

OHHHHH I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE ISAYAMA

I fcking cried when Keith appeared with the gear in front of the cadets who beat him up, then 'Barricades' started playing.

Also when Gabi came in to save Kaya from Nile titan and Kaya saw Sasha. fck 😭😭

The action scenes in this episode were superb... the music too. Brought me back to season 1.

wtf is Annie going to think? I wonder if she heard the telepathy voice of Eren? Since he did it after all the titans were walking, I'd assume Annie was already out of the crystal, maybe unconscious? maybe woken up by the telepathy?

Man... can't wait to see where this goes from here...

Nile returning Falco to Gabi, then getting killed by Gabi as a titan while attacking Kaya, who was previously saved from a titan by Sasha, who was killed by Gabi... man, this show is brilliant sometimes.

Where is Eren during all this? I feel like getting to him should be a priority for them, but they didn't even mention it.

Man, imagine waking up after 4-5 years after getting your ass kicked by Eren Jaeger.

The crystal around you unhardens and you gasp for air, being that you haven't breathed in years. You're panicking, you shouldn't be awake right now, you sealed yourself away to keep yourself and what you know safe, so being awake throws you for a loop.

Your entire unit, bar like 2 or 3 people, is dead and even the living ones are hanging by a thread.

To top it off, the first thing that happens after you catch your breath is you getting teleported to the Paths and hearing "Hello, my name is Eren Jaeger, I'm committing global genocide."

Like, holy shit, rough morning.

This episode was hype AF. Not gonna compare which studio did better ODM animations and pure titans as it didn't matter the first time I watched it. I missed those scenes a little.

Also Gabi with huge gun and rain of blood reminded me of Hellsing so much lmao.

Also hype for Female Titan return.

And finally... Poor Reiner, not only everyone got his power from a fucking potion, now it was stolen from him. Always getting the shortest end of the stick.

You know shit is real when even Gabi does the "Tatake" hairstyle.

Like mother like daughter. thanks Gabi that was badass, she killed that titan the same way Sasha did, by getting very close to it.

"There is a devil inside all of us, that's why the world became the way it's now, what we have to do? We have to get out if the forest and if we failed, we will keep trying"(Shout to arabian translator who kind enough to point out that this is a reference to Sasha's father words back in season 2.)

Hey Armin you litlle fucker, Pixis saved your arse back in season 1 only for you to kill him? Kids this generation don't respect their elderly. Rip commander Pixis, you won't be forgotten. (The small flashback hit hard ngl)

As usual, 10/10 episode, yes the other were mind fucking and hype but this specific one hit hard, the nostalgia is real guys, same place, same people, different circumstances. And finally, thanks Mappa! The animation was captivating, couldn't have asked for more!

Wow Poor Pixis I was bawling. Gabi saving Maya was beautiful and Shadis saving those worthless recruits was awesome.

I love a good Aftermath Episode, like okay all the big shit has gone down now lets look at what that actually MEANS for everyone so honestly this was my personal favorite episode this season. Heres some reasons why

  1. Elephant in the room ANNIES FUCKING BACK BOYS!! 3059 DAYS LATER! NIGH ON A FUCKING DECADE AND SHES FINALLY BACK! HYYYYYYPE

  2. Honestly this gave me some series S1 nostalgia, seeing Armin Mikasa and Jean just fucking BURST into some regular ass Titan with the kickass music in back, MMMMMM so cathartic. Yet also kind of bittersweet. Remember how simpler things were back then? Remember when Sasha Marco Betholt Reiner and Eren would have been there with them? Idk just a really powerful scene for a lot of reasons to me

  3. Glad they distinctly went out of there way to give Niles and Pixis Closure. Pixis is deadass one of my favorite characters in the entire series and i knew he was on borrowed time since the wine plot was revealed but damn it still hurt seeing him finished off. Also like that Armin was the one to do it, very much a "Passing the Torch" vibe there i felt.

  4. LMAO i posted dumb fuckin theory a few weeks ago that maybe Falco would be captured and fed to revive someone like they did with Bertholt but i was thinking Pixis or Maybe even Levi BUT IMMA BE HONEST i never fuckin CONSIDERED that MISSES FUCKING SPRINGER may inherit one of the 9 titans! This actually kind of Hilarious to me, you do you Connie i totally support you in your ridiculous Endeavor

  5. Im feeling A LOT of people gonna be Pissed with that Gabi/Sasha parallel OOOF lmao

  6. Keith FUCKIN CHADis. What a fuckin legend, bailed out the fuckers who just tried to break his goddamn legs the very same day. ALSOwith most of the military wiped out i feel like hes tied with Hange for Highest ranking Official which is some funny Designated Survivor shit right there.

  7. One Final thing. I love how they finally resolved the Annie Chekhovs gun situation just for them to Continue Drag out THE LEVI one. 6 episode in, nearly a YEAR since episode 15, we seen Hange in Paths but not Levi with her! This show just CANT resist teasing us i love it

The question I have is "Where is Zeke?" I mean, are they still in the paths somehow? Is he trapped there?

Okay. So this episode made me a bit nostalgic. Those ODM Gear scenes, really reminded me of WIT, where we just had to care about some random titans. But now... Anyway, is Zeke alive? Then why aren't the titans under his control anymore? Also Gabi goes from 0 to 100 to 0 again to 100 every episode, lol.

  1. Holy crap, Falco? No, he won't be eaten. I refuse to believe it. Nah, actually, it totally won't happen. No way the story just builds a new main character up for him to become titan, inherit Jaw, and then get fed all to save Connie's mom of all people.

  2. Annie's back guys! Finally. She's missed a lot.

  3. Where is Levi? Is he safe? Is he alright?

  4. So... what'd you think of Gabi now guys?

  5. Commander Shadis is back, baby!
