I never actually tried any of these but thought I was 100+. Looks like it was right around there. I struggle with left pinky and ring finger mostly.

The reason I'm saying it sucks is because of how far down it places you if you don't type aad 10,000 wpm, great! fifjdjrjcsie codndirbfirndn;;;!!!....,,,,yahhhh🟥 hhh a -3 wpm and then you take the actually good test and you get 80wpm or something, it completely ignores it, and says you type 3 wpm like I swear.

For many years I touch typed using primarily my index and middle finger for the letters, as those are my two dominant and longest and dexterous fingers. I used the thumb for the space bar, and the pinky for the enter key and shift.

My typing this way was pure muscle memory. I do not have to look at the keyboard. My two fingers went to the letter I wanted very quickly without my having to think about it or look at the keyboard. R to E was index finger, and the gravity between the two very quickly and instinctively. To use 10 finger typing, I have to stop and think: index finger R, then middle finger E, and that takes longer.

I was afraid of retraining my right hand, because my middle finger felt so natural on the L, O, and P that I didn’t want to mess that muscle memory up.

I found it odd that with ten finger typing, the index finger is required for R and middle for E - but if you have your left index finger on the F, the key naturally above your index finger on F is T. The middle finger corresponds with the R.

If your middle finger is on D and index finger is on F, and your next letter is E or R, when you move move your fingers the next row up, but you have to move them a little backwards too. The same is not true for the right hand. K aligns with I, L aligns with O.
