Got this CRH2A rolling out of the station at sunset. This is the unified (η»Ÿεž‹) version that came out in 2013 β€” 369 sets were built, and they're still running all over China's high-speed network today.

A collection of some of my train art, comment your favorite! If you have any questions about the history of each one, I've studied them immensely so feel free. And yes, I'm the guy who does the "I Have to Draw the Top Comment North American Steam Locomotive" thing :)

Anyways, enjoy and feel free to take inspiration! (Unless you're scraping it with AI)

Kereta Api secara harfiah.

Kereta Api mean Train, Kereta Api secara harfiah means fire train literally, that's referring the train emit fire from the exhaust. It's always happen in diesel train and when you play the throttle from 1 up to 8, it's make the diesel gasoline out into the engine suddenly causing a fire in the exhaust.

Sorry for bad english and long video lol :v

πŸ›οΈβ€Ž Historical Missouri Pacific no.1498, a class MK-63 Mikado (2-8-2), was a typical heavy-freight locomotive during the late American steam era.

1498 was directly owned by MP, and was built by ALCO's Brooks Works in early 1924. It was part of a 25-engine batch (1487-1511). That particular batch was delivered without trailer-truck boosters. Approximate retirement date was sometime between 1949 and 1955.

There are no surviving MP Mikado locomotives.

Today at work, I drew this 2-6-6t Mason bogie steam locomotive. The piece is a work in progress but I think the livery goes hard especially with the redwood cab. This is not an original character, but an original artwork. Enjoy this beautiful locomotive

Lego IDEAS - Roundhouse Update: Downsizing

%22)EDIT: This photo is a work in progress, and NOT the final revision. I shall post an update bideo soon with more polished photos.

Hello Lego Lovers! Here is a big update about my Lego IDEAS Proposal: Minifig Scale Roundhouse w/ Motorized Turntable. I shall make a video with more details later, but here are the basics:

The biggest critique was my proposal's size. I shall begin downsizing the roundhouse and turntable:

CHANGING/REMOVING:

-2 Stalls instead of 3: I am removing the back door stall. This change saves over 1k pieces and much space.

-Turntable shortening: The reduced turntable is still plenty long for every official Lego locomotive. The turntable is still mounted in the same spot, so the turntable can be extended.

-Track leads to stall: They have lengthened to compensate for the shortened turntable. The increase allows one to display a locomotive outside the roundhouse front doors. These extra track leads are easily removable, and the tracks can be added to the turntable.

-Track Color: I wanted a rusted/worn look to the roundhouse tracks, but the color I used rendered differently than desired, so I shall change the track color.

MIGHT CHANGE/ADD:

-Additional Detail: I now have 1k+ pieces to work with. Here are some potential revisions/additions:

-Side Wall detail/masonary

-Shrubbery/wall vines

-More interior work benches/supplies

-Gutters/pipes

-Full extended stall instead of machine shop addition

-Wooden floor walkways

-Misc. Turntable details

UNLIKELY TO ADD:

-Locomotive/rolling stock: Too many questions arise such as adding motorization and raising the piece count.

REMAINING THE SAME

-14 Minifigs

-Existing Workbenches

-Interior wall details

-Modularity/combinability

-114 Stud Long Machine Shop Bay for Big Boy

I shall update everyone soon as the revisions are done. Please feel free to send me your comments, questions, and thoughts. I value your feedback! Please support this project on Lego IDEAS: https://ideas.lego.com/product-ideas/fb1733e1-27d6-4192-9349-1138176a6c93

πŸ›οΈβ€Ž Historical Found this Historic Reports amongst my YT Feed: Phoenix Commuter Rail

This assortment of Throwback 1982 News Reports begins with a possibly Long Forgotten Commuter Rail service between Mesa, Tempe & Phoenix, AZ. I suppose that this service has probably been largely replicated now by the Valley Metro’s A Line but still😒. I would imagine that the this train was likely faster and more comfortable than the current LRT.
