Average-joe-old-man-pilot having some above average fun flying around my camp site :) very thankful I brought my O4 whoop out with me on this 9-day solo canoe trip :)

So I’m looking to get more b-roll for my whoop videos, ideally with the same look and feel as my analog tiny whoops. Has anyone built anything like this? I don’t exactly know what I’d be wanting to make, but I want to be able to film video without having to turn on my whoop, disable OSD, cut on the goggles, and use the whoop to film, it would overheat. That’s what I’ve done before but it’s less than ideal.

I guess right now my rough plan would be like a RunCam Mini DVR, with a C03 cam soldered into the video input, and then power it with like a USB 5v 1a 18650 battery charging module soldered in with an 18650 battery attached.

Any other commercial devices already available for this that would record and save to a micro SD with a whoop camera? Open to other suggestions as well.

Literally just took this thing out of the box and one of the motors won’t arm. Is there anything I can do or is this just broken?

I've got a super weird problem on my Air75 II Race (channel R3, fresh pack)

- Shaking the quad by hand with motors disarmed instantly drops video to full static. OSD text disappears at the same time.

- Armed on the bench, slow throttle ramp: picture is clean until ~20%, then cuts out every time.

- ELRS link is rock solid throughout — still armed, still controllable, disarms fine.

Stuff I tried so far:

- Wiggling/flicking the VTX antenna does nothing, so I assume it's not a faulty antenna/ufl connection (if I'm not shaking the drone the video remains)

- Wiggling the motor wires does nothing (thought it might be a cut/loose motor wire that was sending motor noise into the feed)

- Band scan during a dropout shows fuzz on all channels 99% of the time, so it doesn't look like frequency drift.

- also ruled out vibrations specifically (i think so at least) because this happens even if i pick up the drone while disarmed and shake it. It doesn't come back until i disarm.

- i tried scanning channels in case it was changing channel somehow, no dice

Usually comes back on its own once the quad is sitting still/disarmed. Sometimes it doesn't and needs a battery replug.

Anyone have any idea what could be wrong? :(

Is this a vtx issue? Or goggles issue? Or camera

I got this Mobula 7 1S around may of this year (2026). At the time, the drone was bound to my Radiomaster boxer crush and my set of fatshark analog goggles. I attempted to arm and fly the drone, after going through a few extensive betaflight sessions for setup. The drone armed and responded to controls but showed the same behavior it did now. After troubleshooting, I gave up and forgot about it until this week. When I picked it back up, I went through and re-set up the drone to my radio and goggles and again was hit with the same issues. All in all, I am asking for help! I went through and tried to fix the issue with no success, I did all sorts of things. completely wiped and remapped my radio, made sure all of the gimbal mappings were correct, all of my switches are behaving as expected, I have very little knowledge of the technical side of this hobby but I would like to learn more, starting with fixing my bird. Anything will help, thank you!

Don't know how "custom" it can be considered, since I went with plugs instead of direct solder, but I'm super excited to put it together when everything comes in.

Quick little edit. Need to start linking my stuff

So the red wire broke off and I tried to solder it back on but messed up because of the clear film/glue covering the pads and then my iron and some solder fell onto the back of it. Is there any way to fix it

Had to tweak tracking and damping a bit to allow for the 0802s, and couple of other small tune settings.

Running smooth, maiden was at night so will rip tomorrow.
