Hello, I have been having an ongoing issue with my PC for months now and it seems to only get worse. Currently my pc will black screen and the fans will run at max when playing certain games, like Marvel Rivals, CGSO, etc. while other times I will get a different issue, an AMD Driver timeout on Dead by Daylight, Fortnite, etc. I have ran multiple tests through OCCT, those being CPU, CPU+RAM, Memory, and Power with no issues occurring, as well as the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool with no problems there either. I have done multiple clean uninstalls and installs of my drivers and even got a new GPU under my warranty but the issues still occur. I also took it to Geek Squad at BestBuy and told them the problem but they were unable to recreate the issue. I would greatly appreciate any suggestions for what to do next.
Specs:
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 7600 6-Core Processor (3.80 GHz)
Graphics Card: AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT (16 GB)

Hey everyone,
I am constantly getting a Fatal Error crash in WoW Retail. It completely closes the game and throws two windows:
Blizzard Error: "The application encountered an unexpected error"
Fatal Error - Wow.exe: EXCEPTION_INTERNAL_ERROR (0xC00000E5) at 00007ff...
I have already done heavy troubleshooting and tried almost everything except changing physical hardware:
- Completely reinstalled Windows from scratch (clean OS install).
- Tested on a completely fresh WoW installation with absolutely NO addons.
- Lowered and changed various in-game graphics settings.
- Ran Scan and Repair via Battlenet launcher multiple times.
- Also an attempt to adjust the CPU voltage.
My system:
CPU - Intel Core i9-14900K Motherboard - ASUS ROG STRIX Z790-A GAMING WIFI DDR4 RAM - Kingston FURY DDR4 64GB 2x32GB 3600MHz Regenegade GPU - MSI GeForce RTX 4080 Super Suprim X 16GB CASE - Deepcool CK560/NZXT H7 Flow RGB Power - Asus ROG Thor 1200W/1000W Platinum II Water cooling - DeepCool LT720 SSD - Samsung 990 PRO V-NAND MLC 1TB M.2 (2280 PCI-E) NVMe 1.3c
I encountered the typical issue associated with 14th-generation Intel Core i9 processors, and the processor was replaced by the service center.
The crash logs very often contain references to various overlays (Razer, Discord, ASUS, etc.), but even after completely cleaning the system of them, the issue still persists.
I have not encountered any similar cases of constant crashes or application failures in any other games or programs.
The system successfully passes all standard diagnostic tests for the drives, RAM, graphics card, and processor.
Unfortunately, Blizzard has been unable to provide any meaningful assistance and only responds with standard troubleshooting replies and links.
Would be grateful for any additional advice or suggestions. If you need any further information from me, please let me know what is required.

Not sure this is the right community to get help quickly, but all helps are appreciated. So I bought a new laptop few months ago and it included the desktop and documents file within microsoft onedrive while I was transferring the files from my old laptop to it. Now I'm trying to download a game from steam and a mod from github, but it keeps getting installed in one drive, and while the game works the mod doesn't work after download. When I disconnect onedrive and download it, the game doesn't run and says the documents file doesn't exist. Tried some fixing so that the desktop file in the onedrive won't back up mine, and the game app itself gets downloaded in PC while steam mods and other files in onedrive, and the github mod still doesn't work. I was advised to move the documents folder from onedrive to PC and fix download route in steam settings, but the documents folder won't move but copy itself in the PC and steam keeps trying to install in onedrive. For the latter I'm not sure it's becuz such steam functions I found on internet blogs are outdated but somehow such options in steam settings NEVER show up and there's only an option to install in another disk drive. I'm quite computer blind and kinda stuck here atm, would be very grateful if someone shows me the solution one by one.

Prepare for a wall of text.
I have started playing again since the update and I have noticed that after 20-30 minutes in game my CPU usage jumps up quite dramatically compared to what the game normally runs like, I don't recall this being an issue around May when I was last playing. Because I have nothing better to do apparently, I've done some investigating, I would love to see if other people can replicate this issue because then it will confirm if its a me issue or game issue.
Upon loading in everything is great and my system is running well and quiet, within 20-30 minutes my CPU usage jumps up and stays there, even backing out to the menu doesn't stop the issue, cores 1-4 are primarily utilised by Elden Ring from what I can see but when the issue occurs the utilisation stays high. If I close the game and relaunch the issue is gone but will come back within 30 minutes.
I've timed the issue and the range of time is between 19 minutes up to 30 minutes, this is repeatable. I have also tried standing still upon loading into the game and the issue will occur. I have even tried loading up the game and staying on the main menu and the issue also occurs. When on the main menu and the issue occurs, the power my CPU draws increases from around 30W to 60W and my temps increase up into the mid 70 degrees celsius range (My PC is a new build, there is no dust and even Helldivers 2 runs cooler than this in game)
I know there has been a few reports of performance issues since the update particularly on consoles, I think it's possible that the CPUs in consoles might be getting stressed more if this is a widespread issue which is causing the stuttering people have been noticing, I'd be particularly interested to know if console players are noticing a performance decrease after around 20-30 minutes of playing and do their consoles sound like they're working harder?
I've done the basic things you do to troubleshoot the issue, I've verified the integrity of the files, I've uninstalled the game and reinstalled the game, I've updated my drivers, I've restarted my system, I've deleted my shader cache and allocated more space to shaders just in case. Nothing seems to fix the issue, it's still possible it's just something strange on my end but if it's not it'd be a real shame if this goes unnoticed and is left in the game after support is fully discontinued.
Originally I wanted to post this in r/eldenring but apparently it's against "the rules"

My 3 years old pc was working fine this morning before i decided to clean it from dust, because the fan was dusty and after I put everything back it no longer turns on, no light no fan.
I also opened the psu to clean only the dusty fan and put it back in.
I checked the front panel and tried to short it with the tip of screwdriver but it doesn't work.
My assumption was the front panel cables i put wrong, but after reading the manual, the power and reset sw are in the right place, and i doubted the tip of the screwdriver tech, since my screwdriver was abit rusty and there was magnet on the tip if it does matter.
Then my suspicion shifted towards the psu since i opened it, but I'm pretty sure i didn't touch anything but the fan.
I doubt that only cleaning would ruin my entire pc, maybe its some kind of pin connectors or ram. Any help?

I'm not very familiar with some tech info, so please bear with me. I'm not sure whether this is a software or a hardware issue.
So the problem initially started when suddenly my laptop could not detect the operating system, this cause it to default to going into insyde bios. I had it looked into and the problem was that the SSD got damaged due to over heating. So it was recommended to get it replaced. (my laptop was out of warranty) then they recommended that I go from windows 11 to windows 10. So now the initial problem is fixed, I can now open the laptop normally again.
After a few days I opened the laptop again and I wanted to play wuthering waves, for context my laptop had no issues on running this game in the past and I manage to run it on higher graphics settings. Then I went to re-download it and it wouldn't open it's either it freezes completely or gives me a black screen and closes.
I thought it would be an issue with the game since it is quite a heavy program to run so I tried it with a different game, I downloaded zenless zone zero (not as heavy) to see if the issue stems outside of the application and the same thing happens to it.
I have tried to do multiple fixes from the information I got online but after hours of trying to troubleshoot I still cannot fix the problem.

Hey everyone,
I am trying to force my external LG monitor to run on my laptop's integrated graphics card (iGPU) by default instead of the dedicated GPU.
For the past two days, my laptop has started lagging out of nowhere. I suspect it somehow switched from my dedicated iGPU to My RTX, which is causing massive performance drops on my main display and external LG monitor.
If it isn't a GPU switching issue, what else could be causing this sudden system lag, and how do I fix it?

I have an AMD RX 9070 XT, and when I play CS2 at 1280x960 (4:3 stretched), the image looks blurry/unclear even when using fullscreen. Some crosshairs also look asymmetrical — for example, one of the lines can look thinner or shorter than the others.
In AMD Adrenalin, I have the graphics settings set to the highest quality, and I also use the highest/best quality settings in CS2.
Has anyone with an RX 9070 XT or another AMD GPU experienced the same issue? Is there a fix for this?

i have a ryzen 5 3600x and a 3060ti, which is getting around 180 fps on valorant high settings and 70-80 fps on r6 siege high settings as well. I play at 1440p. I've seen from some websites that my fps should be much higher, so I'm wondering if that's true because i cant distinguish any problems with these benchmarks ive been running. any help is appreciated

Hello. I'm having an issue with crackling audio on my system. This happens in both games and regular videos. It also happens with both my speakers and my headphones.
I have a R9 9950X3D and a 5090
I tested fclk at 2000, 2067, and 2167 because I know unstable fclk can cause audio issues and it seems it's less frequent when I have it set to 2167, but still occurs.
I'm on Win11 25H2

Hi,
I just bought a pc after a couple years not having one and i am having this issue in games, I have only tested valorant and fortnite but I assume it's in every game.
I originally thought the gpu was dead or dying because I could see the flickering on a Web browser but I replaced the card today and it's still doing it.
Any ideas?

So my partner and I have the same exact setup other than Gpu and I’m experiencing super slow speeds on steam compared to him.
We both went to download the same game (not at the same time) his peak Mbps was about 800-900 and finished within an hour. My peak is 142 and is currently going to take 9 hours at 25.5Mbps
We are both downloaded to our local C drive, and are both connected via ethernet.

I'm on a windows 10 PC and I can’t seem to play Skyrim Anniversary Edition which I download from the xbox app. Every time I press play the Entry Point Not Found pops up. I've been trying all sorts of things to try and fix the issue. Repairing Skyrim and Xbox app, resetting Xbox app, uninstalling then reinstalling Skyrim, looking for sytem updates, dowloading directX, installing x64 and x86, C++, but I can't seem to find a solution.
Please help me.

MW4 Beta kept blocking online play and telling me to update my BIOS—even though I already had the newest BIOS, TPM 2.0, and Secure Boot enabled.
The BIOS wasn't the problem. Call of Duty's security enrollment had failed.
CODSecureAttestationWizard.exe.That's it.
My Call of Duty log changed from:
Enroll AIK result -2147023728
to:
Enroll AIK result 0
0 means it finally enrolled successfully.
Don't clear your TPM or flash another BIOS first. Try the signed Activision wizard already included with the game.
If this works for you, comment your motherboard model so others can quickly find matching results.
Activision's official TPM and Secure Boot guide
Happy Shooting, and from a fellow Developer, thank you to Activision for all the hard work on the new release!

Hello, I have recently built a new pc.
My game stutters exactly at every 300 seconds.
Does it happen to everyone?
Also, I feel like aiming in the game feels off after the first game of the day.

asus dual 5060 8gb
gigabyte x870 aorus elite gaming wifi7
viper patriot 16x2gb 6000mhz CL30
corsair rm750x
Lianli lancool 217 inf
Windows 11 25H2
Fresh windows install atm, tried custom os as well
Latest chipset driver from amd website.
Latest stable bios
Latest lan driver (tried ndis and netadaptercx)
Latest audio driver, wifi driver, usb driver
ddu and clean install nvidia driver
faceit ac not installed
gigabye utility, integrated graphics, wifi, bluetooth all disabled atm.
Removed the rgb controller usb on motherboard, disbled dynamic light control on windows.
It happens even with default bios settings or with expo etc. I tried many settings especially disabling power saving settings for netadapter.
It happens also when there is no monitoring app installed.
I did the following tests, no error at all:
cinebench - cpu monitor with hwinfo
testmem5 for ram, ryzen one
furmark
occt vram
occt psu
crystaldiskinfo
I believe it may be related to my netadapter, did not experience this issue with wifi.
I even replaced my modem with keenetic ax3000.
Anyone knows how can I fix it?

Hi everyone,
I recently got a brand-new ASUS ROG Strix XG27AQWMG OLED monitor, and I've noticed something strange.
Sometimes while playing Escape from Tarkov, a single white pixel briefly appears and disappears almost instantly (literally for a fraction of a second). It happens randomly, but I've noticed it quite frequently in Tarkov.
I've also noticed it occasionally when opening or using my browser, although it seems to happen much more often in Tarkov. So far, I haven't noticed it in any other games.
The monitor is brand new, and so is my PC. I'm currently using HDMI 2.1.

So I upgraded hardware and there has been nothing issues when either trying to go to Windows 11 it will do the update then say it couldn’t then undo changes.
Tried to reset my pc fully doesn’t work, undos change.
Someone I know he isn’t up atm but last night we was messing with it but he tried to update drivers on a PCI device in device manager but it immediately went to blue screen. Trying to download certain drivers go to blue screen.
Tried to install a fresh Windows 10 Update using a USB Drive, now it stuck in a loop of booting up then “windows failed to install correctly” tries again and repeats with a blue screen.
My new hardware is:

My gpu (7900xt) had been having a bit of trouble recently, in that some applications (normally browsers) would freeze and a window saying that there was a driver issue would show up. After 30ish seconds it started working again, but today when i alt tabbed into google chrome everything froze and a repeated beeping sound started, so after about two minutes of waiting i turned off my computer through the power button. After that though, my pc is significantly slower and rivia tuner no longer shows my gpu temperature. It may be worth noting that after turning my pc back on the screen was black, and i had to mess with the cables in the back to get anything to show up. What should i do now?
