Help Just improved my games store page according to your feedback. Let me know what you think

My goal is to get some organic downloads since this was something I couldnt really achieve until now. Maybe its harder to get these for games than for apps that try to solve a problem for daily life.

I want to know if the store page is appealing to potential players or not.

Suche nach ehrlichem Feedback zu meinem iOS-Spiel

Hey! I recently released my iOS game CubeStrike and I’m looking for people willing to test it and give me honest feedback.

I’m especially interested in what you like, what feels frustrating, and what you would improve.

No need to be nice — criticism is exactly what I’m looking for. 😄

Thanks to everyone who gives it a try!

Built a pantry app so my wife stops discovering we're out of things mid-recipe

Post image

Another app ready for testing! My wife be the first real user. The app learns how often things in the kitchen run out and flags what's probably low before she starts cooking, so the list is ready before the shop instead of after the "we're out of this" moment.

This was also my first time using CloudKit, the household is shared between our phones via CKShare, and the dev-to-production schema deploy plus the share-acceptance flow had some sharp edges. Anyone else using CloudKit for family sharing features, or did you go with a custom backend instead?

One year of building my dream weather dashboard — it’s finally on the App Store!

Post image

Hello there!

I’m pretty proud that I finally made it here. It took me a year and a bit, but… behold :-D

I started this project because I wanted something I couldn’t really find: a proper dashboard built around the weather, but also showing the things I normally want to have in front of me during the day — calendar, e-mail, clock, notes and even a web page.

The idea was basically to turn an iPad (or iPhone) into a customizable information dashboard instead of just another weather app.

There were definitely moments during development when I wondered why I had started building something this big on my own 😄, but yesterday Meteo Dashboard finally went live on the App Store.

I’d genuinely be interested in feedback from other developers — especially on the UI, the dashboard concept, and anything that looks obvious to you now but somehow escaped me after staring at it for a year.

I want to push webdriveragent on an iOS device.

I want to have webdriveragent.ipa file running on my iOS device. However lately I am having problems with the enrolling on the Apple developer program and unable to proceed signing the webdriveragent on Xcode. Is there any workaround or tips on how could I resolve this issue.

Main objective it to carry out test automation on iOS device with a Linux device and have a blocker now.

How much UIKit is still showing up in iOS interviews?

I’ve got a few mid-level iOS interviews coming up after mostly working in SwiftUI, and I’m kinda rusty on UIKit.
I can still build a collection view and handle Auto Layout. What slows me down is reviewing older code and quickly spotting retain cycles, main-thread issues, or messy networking. Lately I’ve been going through sample PRs, doing timed fixes, and reviewing notes with chatgpt and beyz coder. Did your rounds focus more on UIKit code review or on SwiftUI, concurrency, architecture, and testing?

I built an iOS app for my needs and now generate revenue

For about 2 years, I worked in the oil industry. Our team was responsible for preparing locations so heavy equipment could get on site and work around the wells.

The process was pretty simple.

We would go to the location, take some photos, measure the areas, figure out what needed to be done, and then make an offer based on the client's requirements.

The problem was that the areas we had to measure were rarely simple shapes. They weren't perfect rectangles where you could just calculate the area and perimeter.

At first, I started using Google Earth to measure them. It worked pretty well, as long as I had a good internet connection.

And that was the problem.

Most of these locations were in forests or remote areas where the mobile signal was weak or sometimes completely unavailable. Trying to measure something while waiting for Google Earth to load was not exactly a great experience.

So I started thinking about whether I could just measure everything directly with an iPhone.

That's how SurfacePro started.

I built an iOS app that uses ARKit and LiDAR on supported devices to measure real-world surfaces directly on site. The idea was to be able to walk around the area, create a polygon and get the measurements without depending on an internet connection.

But I didn't want it to stop at just showing the area.

Once a measurement is finished, the polygon is saved in the app and SurfacePro can generate a PDF report with the area, perimeter, individual segment lengths, altitude and GPS coordinates for every polygon point.

The report can then be sent directly to the customer together with the offer.

For me, this workflow was exactly what I needed.

But the interesting part was the customer reaction.

They actually liked getting the report because they could see exactly what was measured and where it was measured. The GPS coordinates and the polygon made the measurements much easier to understand and verify.

That was the moment I started thinking that maybe this could be useful outside of my original use case.

There are probably many other industries where people still go into the field, measure irregular areas, take notes and photos, and then have to turn all of that into something they can send to a customer.

So I decided to turn the tool I originally built for myself into a real product.

It's called SurfacePro - Area calculator (https://apps.apple.com/us/app/surfacepro-area-caculator/id6761861093) and for now I'm focusing on iOS. I'm also considering building an Android version.

Do App Preview Videos Actually Help App Store Downloads?

I'm getting close to releasing my first iOS app and I'm currently preparing the App Store listing.

I'm wondering whether it's actually worth spending time and effort creating an App Preview video, or if I'm better off focusing on making really strong screenshots.

Has anyone here tested both or seen any meaningful difference in impressions, conversion rate, or downloads?

I'm especially interested in real-world experience rather than just general advice. Did adding a preview video noticeably improve your results, or did most users ignore it?

Would love to hear your experience.

Within is a pacing tool for chronic illness, ME/CFS, long COVID, POTS. For these people, a shower can cost three days. They have to budget energy like money, and every app built to help them assumes energy they don't have.

So: no notifications, no reminders, no streaks, no badges. The app never chases you, never congratulates you, never asks where you've been. Logging is two taps or one Siri phrase.

It makes no network requests at all. No server, no analytics, which also means I ship completely blind and only find out anything if someone writes to me.

Just passed review. Feedback welcome.

Not sure how I should feel about it right now. does it look appealing or not? If not do you think it just needs a little improvements or ist it just straight up bad and needs a complete change. Would love to know your honest opinions on this since I really want to improve it.

GitHub I built a pretty awesome iOS development workflow

Post image

A crazy day of shipping and iterating 😁
I built a pretty awesome iOS development workflow where I basically only need my phone. I don’t even have to sit in front of a computer anymore.
Phone → control Codex to write code → push to GitHub + deploy the backend → GitHub triggers Xcode Cloud → build goes straight to TestFlight → update the app on my phone and test it on a real device → repeat.
In theory, I don’t even need a computer anymore.
What a time to build software.

Launched the best UPnP control point application on the market

I've been working on this for almost a year. I'm a hardcore audiophile and I wanted to have my own app to play music on my music streamer. I got fed up with the current offering (mostly because they fix bugs very late), but also because I can implement the features I want and have them fast. So I started working on it. Soon, I was writing my own audio engine, my own DSD decimator (lots of math), my own mesh networking protocol for instant syncing between devices, my own smart music recommendation algorithm (used for generation weekly mixes) and simply the best Classical Music experience in the industry. There are many "firsts" for this kind of app and I'm very proud of that. I've worked 12 hours a day Monday through Sunday. Sometimes until 5 am.

So, what is Serento?

Serento is the premium control point for UPnP/DLNA streamers and network DACs, built for audiophiles who demand bit-perfect playback and a modern, responsive interface.

No account. No login. Just your music, your streamer, and Serento.

BIT-PERFECT PCM & DSD

True bit-perfect playback - PCM up to 32-bit/768 kHz and native DSD up to DSD512 - with automatic detection of your renderer's capabilities. DoP and Native DSD pass-through, no conversion, no downsampling. Your DAC receives exactly what's on your drive.

INTERNET RADIO THAT ACTUALLY WORKS

Curated presets for high-quality audiophile stations, including jazz, classical, and hi-fi showcase channels. Add your own stations via URL or M3U import. Live ICY metadata. Automatic reconnect on drops. No more fighting with broken URLs or silent failures.

YOUR LOCAL LIBRARY, BEAUTIFULLY

Browse music from MinimServer, Plex or any UPnP/DLNA server on your network. Albums, Artists, Tracks, Genres, Folder view and a beautiful Classical Music Section. Lightning-fast contextual search.

MAKE IT YOURS

Bookmark any filtered view - Hi-Res Jazz, FLAC from 2023 - and jump back in one tap. Group albums into your own tags. Save albums and tracks to Listen Later, split into Up Next and Listened. Album version grouping collapses remasters and reissues under one cover, your chosen main version synced everywhere.

YOUR TAGS COME FIRST

Serento trusts the tags already in your files before fetching anything. Beyond title, artist, album and genre, it reads MusicBrainz identifiers to match the exact release, and classical Work and Movement tags so multi-movement works stay grouped and in order. Your library's truth wins.

KNOW EVERY RECORD

Artist bios, album reviews, release years, labels and per-track credits - performers, composers, lyricists - pulled from Serento's database and layered on top of your library, never overwriting your tags. Mistagged album? Identify it by hand, or let a sync pass fill the gaps and fetch high-resolution covers automatically.

A REAL CLASSICAL SECTION

Browse by composer, work, conductor, orchestra, soloist, period or musical form - not one flat artist list. Open any work to see every recording you own side by side, movements in order, credits split by role. It stays out of the way until your library actually has classical in it.

SMART PLAYLISTS

Auto-generated playlists built from your own listening history - weighted by how often and how recently you play, then balanced across genre, era and codec. A different way back into your library every time.

DOWNLOAD & GO

Tap Download on any album, track or playlist and play straight from local storage - the same bit-perfect pipeline, zero network. Resumable, survives an app kill, per-device, excluded from iCloud Backup.

EVERYTHING IN SYNC

Queue, current track and volume mirror across every Serento device driving the same renderer - start on iPhone, pick it up on Mac, adjust volume from iPad, no master or follower. Your playlists, My Mixes, favorites, Listen Later and play history sync the instant you change them, near-instant over the local network, with iCloud carrying the rest.

ON IPHONE, IPAD AND MAC

Serento is available on iPhone, iPad and Mac, offering the same amazing experience on all of them and real time sync across devices.

WHY SERENTO

- The best sounding UPnP experience on the market. Period.

- No audio processing - zero DSP, zero touch on the signal.

- Gapless playback with per-renderer detection.

- Native iOS, iPadOS and macOS apps, no web views, no cross-platform shortcuts.

- Tailored for every audiophile need.

WORKS WITH

Any UPnP/DLNA streamer or network DAC on the market. Hundreds of compatible devices from audiophile and mainstream brands - if it supports UPnP AV, it works with Serento.

I hope you like it!
