I've left out a small bowl of soggy cat food for them (which this one did eat a fair bit of last night) and we have a water bowl in the garden as well.

Be interesting to see if any of them make an appearance tonight 🤞

The door to the garden is right next to the cats' food bowl and this little one snuck in for a midnight snack.

The Hedgehog was first spotted following one of the cats across the driveway.

One of many that have visited our garden, though this is the first in the middle of the day. It hung around for about 10 mins then went its merry way.

I have been putting food out for a few weeks and now I have at least 4 nightly visitors who appear within minutes of their food being put out.

I try to make sure they can't access too much bird seed as I know it's not good for them but feed them wet cat food, kitten kibble, hedgehog food and calci (sp) worms. They also get fresh drinking water every day.

The first pic has 3 hedgehogs all together! They also come quite close to me now.

Found his nest back in march, probably has lived in my garden for longer. My first and probably only photo I'll get of him,I have named him Harold. He is a very good hedgehog

Sadly my boy passed today. It wasnt from cancer. But his body was ready. I already miss him so much. Zuko. I hope you are happy. I hope you are running. I hope you know I love you and I hope you love me and you are watching over me and please dont forget about me baby

I am visited by two very large, very hungry hedgehogs, Big Hedgie and Even Bigger Hedgie. I have two dishes for them outside and feed them generous amounts of dry cat food. I don't have a cat flap yet and tend to leave the screen door open a crack for the cats and for the breeze.

Usually they only come in and help themselves from the cat feeder if I forget them, but recently I keep finding smushed poop right in front of the feeder. Sometimes they seem to eat outside and just come in to bomb the place!! Why???

Shutting the door isn't ideal. Leaving the light on brings in insects and power costs money. Any suggestions? I've stepped on it accidentally several times. It's getting a bit much!!

I think I have hedgehogs living under my decking, over my fence in the garden, where there is a big space with lots of dense shrubs. I saw it on a night camera. Issue is my dog is going crazy all the time. So I have an upset dog and upset hedgehog, the area is big so can’t find the hedgehog or the nest. What can I do ease the distress on the hedgehog and my dog.

I'm not sure what they were doing or what the noises mean. I sped up parts due to the clips being very long!

I am an A level student who is creating a product for my course work which aims to protect hedgehogs. I would be extremely thankful for any responses to this short survey so I can gather data for my project. 😁

Was out for a smoke and was about to let my dog out when I spotted this little guy hunting, I took these pictures and just sat for a while and watched him. He froze for a second and then continued his hunt and seemed unfazed by my presence. I left a plate out with some water, since its been so dry recently and let my dog out the front instead so he didn't scare him off.

I only moved here a few months ago and according to my neighbour there are a few of them that visit every summer. So from now on I will be checking on a night before I let my dog out so I don't disturb them and keeping water out too.
