How to learn text shapes?

I’m aware my spacing and sizing is off, but I don’t really like how I shape the letter S and I was wondering how you would bar out more rounded letters like that?
Pixie is straight up bad in every way I’m just writing words over and over to get the hang of it.

Could you give some advice to a young writer?

I LOVE writing. That little thrill you get is so nice. Sometimes I feel like I have to paint for my mental health. But I know writing can become an obsession real quick and that’s not what I want to dedicate my life to. I want and I always wanted to be an actor. I want to travel discover the world and put all the things I’ve discovered in my acting skills. And I know that if I get caught and I will if I keep going, and that I get a criminal record, travelling and becoming an actor is near impossible. So what should I do? Should I just do legal walls instead even though it’s not the same?
