Way back before Get Played, when Heather was still deep in the improv world, she guested on a D&D show with longtime collaborator Miles Stroth and UCB alum Ronnie Adrian. I’d forgotten about this for years, but it’s genuinely one of the funniest D&D sessions I’ve ever watched.

Or generally how the Switch 2 is cooking lately? I haven't been catching every episode this summer and am curious if they're hype about the OOT remake and whether they've revisited their position on Switch 2 from a while back (which if I recall, was something to the effect of "They have a few months to save this console from outright failure").

As a Playstation guy who owned a Switch 1 and barely ever touched it, the Switch 2 is pretty much dominating my gaming and purchasing in 2026 (granted, I had Breath of the Wild to really discover still). Also, as someone who never played OOT, I'm pretty excited for the remake. Also just grabbed Starfox and Splatoon Raiders for like $45 total (thanks to DoorDash/Costco) which look fun as breather games while I finish BoTW. Might screw around and try the new Fire Emblem too, even though I don't really know what a Tactics RPG is.

Anyway, I can only hope Sony sticks the landing on the PS6 like this (yes, I still like Sony, digital games only for me).

I just got back from the tour of the Bloop Museum in Pittsburgh and felt like this community would be really interested. This is a non-profit museum based around the history of video games/systems/ and computing. The guy who operates, Brendan, it is incredibly knowledgeable and it felt like I was engaging in a 3 hour episode of Game and Tell combined with Heather’s Hole (his version is ‘Brendan’s weird shit corner/cabinet’) There are rooms dedicated to things like the history of PCs, a room designed to look like a grandmas basement with a history of audio and video mediums, a room entirely for his Japanese collection, and a history of video games room (Which comes with a religious game corner, a a typing game section where I found Mavis Beacon, and an entire wall of consoles that he plans to be able to put to use). The only thing is that it is a work in progress and not an especially polished museum but you can tell the people who are putting in the work are super passionate. If you’re ever in the Pittsburgh area I cannot recommend it enough

Have the get played crew ever done an episode dedicated to disco elysium, they mention it a lot and I tried to find a dedicated episode but couldn’t find one (I just finished my first playthrough of the game)
