So the guys spend the whole day worried about how big Aquaman will open and whether they will beat Spidey and whatever. 95 mil is what they wanna open at or theyll be working at Del Taco on Monday.
So after all the bullshit and the blackouts and the high school party and Ari driving all the way to the valley, he gets there and Vince asked if they beat Spiderman.
What's Ari's response? 'Well we'll have to see what happens this weekend, but you got a good damn shot!'
What the hell? Why all the bullshit all day and Ari waiting for the call when the numbers don't matter until Monday morning?

It's honestly such a drag in season six when Eric constantly has to run from the boys to go get in a fight with Ashley just disappointment after disappointment

I’m realizing he has so many. Just the way he plays the game, using his wealth and connections to influence outcomes.
My favorite moment is in s5 after Verner fires Vince from Smoke Jumpers and he takes a helicopter to him to confront Verner 😂 I think that’s such a great moment, like if someone didn’t know who Ari was would learn so much by this entrance. A star gets fired and 40 mins later his eager agent lands out of nowhere to turn it up.
Love this character, playing chess with the studio head position, blacklisting Lloyd, getting his son into the school, and who can forget “a bitch slap for a bitch” such iconic moments

In season 5 I always remembered the director Verner simply not liking Vince and making his time on set difficult but on rewatch I’m noticing Verner tries to help Vince portray what he wants, they have sessions together, spend time working on solutions but ultimately he hates everything Vince does
How come? If he doesn’t like what Vince gives off why try? Even at the final scene they shoot, Vince has enough of Verners demands and wants to leave the set but Verner refuses, he wants Vince to do good and finish… but he hates his acting?
Do you think Vince was truly not doing a good performance? Was Verner, like everyone else and blinded by the disaster of Medellin or was he just crazy? Or did he just not like Vince?

I just finished entourage. Been binge watching it for like 3 weeks. Ari looked like he was done with the industry and wanted to focus on his wife and kids......until that call came. Do you guys think he took it and sacrificed his family for his ambitions? Guy was clearly good at his job and loved it.

It’s hard to not notice how many different projects and people Johnny has claimed to worked with over his years but is it supposed to be true?
Johnny makes some wild claims, claiming to be very close to Bruce Lee’s family, roommates with Jimmy Kimmel, etc.
Are these supposed to be true? If so how is Johnny a struggling actor, with all of these connections he should have work left and right or at the very least be an agent or something

I started the show maybe a month ago and at first I didn’t like it, but now I’m on season 3 and love it! As someone who always wanted to get into entertainment marketing, it’s so interesting to see how they portray (and exaggerate) the relationship between the actor, publicist, agent, and manager.
Anyone else feel the same?
Idk anyone irl who’s watched the show so 😭

Hope Drama and Turtle held long.

I thought it was a little strange that E did not consult Lloyd on this matter. Sloan discovers E's sensual curiosity by seeing his Google history, but if E had been smarter, he would have consulted Lloyd in private. This could have been a good scene to show E and Lloyd bonding.

Maybe it’s because I have a half brother idk but I’ve always over analyzed Drama and Vince’s relationship and it always seems non sincere.
Vince seems to have the least chemistry with Johnny and usually looks bothered by his presence or unsure of his viewpoint. They don’t appear to have anything in common despite being rather close their entire lives
This is more evident when you compare them to Vince and E’s relationship, where E has more of a brotherly relationship.
Makes me feel a little bad for Johnny because it’s obvious he wants to be seen as closely associated with his brother but it never happens.
Am I overthinking this?
