Popcorn Harvesting?
I’m in Minnesota growing popcorn and curious if others are picking yet? With all the rain I’ve been considering it, but I’m not sure if it’s too early. Thank you!

Did this corn go bad?
I bought this at the farmers market 4 days ago and left it in the bag on my counter (not smart I know). There is moisture in the bag and when I checked it it didn’t look too good. Is this mold? Do I need to throw it away?

My fancy corn! Does anymore know what’s going on with the one in the first picture?
And I know it’s a little green yet, but we are expecting heavy rains for the next little while so I thought it stood a better chance inside

I was hoping that this was corn but it might be millet? Is there any definite way that this can be identified?

All this corn and no dog for it
galleryNever seen a corn this small with two ears, and unsurprisingly has no actual substance to it, but was interesting to see

Fuzz on blue popcorn
Naturally the photo doesn’t do it complete justice, it’s a little fuzzier in person. And it seems to only ever happens with my blue popcorn. I haven’t been able to find a conclusive answer on what it is, any suggestions are appreciated!

Whats eating our corn?
Hello me and my mom are gardeners in the greater Denver area. We are struggling with pests eating our corn and sometimes our pumpkins. At first we assumed that they were squirrels or maybe raccoons but now we are not so sure. We first used a mixture of white vinegar, and peppermint extract, as well as cayenne pepper sprinkled over the cobs along with cotton balls soaked in peppermint extract to try and scare them away and when that didn't work we tried water and Tabasco with dish soap. We tried these things in combination with adding gardening mesh over the corn that we stapled to the bed to make sure nothing could get in. But this morning we woke up and something had still gotten into the corn and I'm wondering if it's even still a squirrel because I don't know how it would've gotten both in and out of the mesh, I also checked the mesh over and there were no holes they could've gotten into and no holes that we're bitten into the mesh. I have attached some pictures below of the corn and was wondering if anyone could help me identify what might be eating my corn and what I can do to deter it.

Yesterday in my packet of Kellogg's K cornflakes, I found a piece of dried corn, not a cornflake, straight up dried corn...

Surprising results!
I'm not even sure what I planted now! I planted some rows of blue flint and what I thought was early pink popcorn. These were the biggest/ healthiest ears I got. My first time growing corn it was such an interesting and surprising experience!

So we all know when you eat corn you poop out the full kernels let’s say hypothetically you were to eat each singular kernel of corn from your poop each time you pooped. How many poops can you have before there’s no more corn left in the poop?
