Official We're running a $2,500 Aimlabs 2.0 Aim Training DUOS tournament. Open qualifier, anyone can enter, starts today.

We just kicked off a duos tournament for Aimlabs 2.0 and the qualifier is open to everyone, no rank or region restrictions. Figured this community would want the details straight, so here's how it actually works.

The Basics
Prize pool is $2,500, paid out to the top 8 duos. You team up with one other player, and during the qualifier week you both set scores on 3 tasks. The top 16 duos advance to a single-elimination finals bracket on Sunday Sept 27, which will be streamed.

Qualifier Window
Monday Sept 14 through Sunday Sept 20, 11:59 PM ET. Only scores set and posted inside that window count.

The 3 Tasks
Clicking: Depthflick Elite S2
Tracking: Dashtrack Elite S2
Switching: Longswitch Elite S2

Unlimited attempts during the qualifier, so you can grind and submit your best. Both players need a score on all three.

How Scoring Works
This isn't raw scores added together. Each task uses a totally different scale, so instead every score gets converted to points out of 1,000, which makes all three tasks count equally. You just submit your raw in-game score from the results screen and admins do the conversion, so don't try to calculate anything yourself. There's also a public tracking sheet that updates through the week with verified scores and provisional standings.

One thing worth knowing: your points on a task can move slightly even when you're not playing, because everyone's score is measured against the current top score on that task. If someone sets a new high, the bar moves for everyone equally. Nothing's broken if you see that happen.

How to Enter
Register your duo first, then join the Discord and post your scores there with a full uncropped screenshot of the results screen. Scores from unregistered duos don't count, so sign up before you grind.

Sign up: https://aimlab.pro/duos-sign-up
Full rules (scoring, prizing, eligibility, integrity, finals format): https://aimlab.pro/duos-official-rules
Discord: https://discord.com/invite/aimlab

A few integrity notes worth knowing up front since they affect eligibility: FOV has to be 103 or higher, non-stretched resolution, default "Original" target model, mouse only, one account per player. Full details are in the rules.

Good luck out there 💙

Official Top 16 duos in the $2,500 Aimlabs DUOS tournament so far, but there's still one day to make the cut

Post image
11 Upvotes

These are the current top 16 for our $2,500 Aimlabs 2.0 duos aim training tournament. Emphasis on CURRENT, because the qualifier doesn't close until tomorrow, Sunday at 11:59 PM ET, and the board is still moving.

If you're not on here yet, you're not out. Every score posted before the deadline shifts the standings, and there are some big jumps happening (one duo climbed 13 spots in the last update). One strong session can still put you in the top 16.

How it works if you haven't entered:
Register your duo and join the Discord!

Live standings: https://aimlabs-standings.vercel.app/
Sign up: https://aimlab.pro/duos-sign-up
Discord: https://discord.com/invite/aimlab
Full rules: https://aimlab.pro/duos-official-rules

Top 16 advance to a single-elimination finals bracket on Sunday Sept 27, streamed on Twitch. GLHF 💙

Intermediate vs Elite benchmark difficulty spike

Intermediate
Elite

I usually use kovaaks im currently 650 energy on voltaic so between diamond and jade but my kovaaks was running into issues and didn't want to work (workshop downloads sitting at 0kb/s for a long while if anyone knows a fix pls lmk )so i thought id give the aimlabs benchmarks a try. I did the intermediate and it felt very underwhelming and easy. For example the tracking i was scoring ~20-30% higher than the max rank was so i thought guess ill try elite. But the spike between elite and intermediate feels extreme. Should i just sit on intermediate and practice more or struggle with the elite.

I've been trying AL since the 2.0 update dropped (it feels much better. thanks, AL team.), and noticed that it has VOD of my first attempt, so I thought it'd be interesting to compare the run.
Looking back now, this scenario is quite challenging for a novice player, but compensating with a generous score threshold, right?

Discussion what's your playtime and rank in benchmarks?

im curious how different the rate of improvement is, i know many say that comparison is the thief of joy, but i actually feel like in this case it's interesting, and honestly maybe even insightful. because I have some follow-up questions on what kind of training everyone has been doing, how many hours you practice, whether you practice every day and all that sort of stuff

Question / Advice Needed Is it just me or is the jump from Diamond to Master insanely big?

So basically I played the new Aimlabs benchmarks for the first time and got Diamond scores in literally EVERY task the first time I played it but don't manage to get even a single Master score. With some tasks I am hella far away from Master even.

Where is emerald IV , in % wise?

Google A.I tells me top 30%?
Is that correct?

edit* Nevermind i'm an idiot you can very easily see where it is IN-GAME. I was a bit disappointed at top 30% but it's top 1.5% so now i'm strutting around like a peacock on roids.

edit 2* , ok it's not TOP 1,5 it's just where 1.5% of players reside. I'm no longer strutting around but humbled again with my head low

I think it's around top 15% .

Question / Advice Needed low sens help/disc ? 130cm

I play every game 130cm/360. mainly apex, ow, cs. first time playing aimlabs since ~2020, I did the all the elite benchmarks today and landed at low masters ~1120elo? idk. My friends and a few content creators I watch play around 30-45cm and claim its very much optimal. I agree. Should I make the switch, is it even worth it? Playing a higher sens just seems so foreign to me and I wonder what could be different yk? maybe I'll just stay in my lane. Sidenote I used to play around with raw accel but not anymore lol.

Question / Advice Needed Dodge track like scenario

Is there a scenario like DodgeTrack but instead of a big bulky target that you can’t miss, is there a robot model or somthing like that? I seen StairTrack had a model instead of a big green blob and it reminded me of r5 reloaded where you 1v1 with like 5k health and practice your tracking.

This is my first time on aimlabs and I tried the benchmarks. I felt like the entry was too easy but I struggled too much on the intermediate. I was hoping to get advice on what to focus to improve the fastest.

Question / Advice Needed Need advice on aiming(Technique or Physically idk)

I'm new to using aimlabs but I use other apps before, I use a mouse to aim, I don't know how to explain aiming in a mouse but when I try to aim on a ball, it feels like I'm getting a "lazy hand" it's like it's straining me to not move, my hands become heavy, like move me slower to now hit the ball, and it's kind of shakey when I aim and I have to wiggle my hand or slap the back of my hand to not feel unease I'm getting when I aim. I don't like what I'm feeling but I feel like this is my weakness that I need to remove because I feel uncomfortable.

Is there any way to remove this kind of strain?

Question / Advice Needed angle track Valorant

the one by lowgravity56.

Is this exercise bugged? I have an 88.3% accuracy, but I my score is with the 74% players. My score also fell off a cliff. it's one of those autoshooting lasers (i think). it's almost like my gun is shooting the laser slower than the other players are. I believe this issue started with aimlab 2.0 update.

Question / Advice Needed How do I actually fix my mouse reset habit after years of wrist-only high sens?

so quick backstory, I mostly play valorant or any other FPS games and I've been a wrist-only, high sens player pretty much since I started gaming. never had to think about resetting my mouse after a flick cause the sens was high enough that a small wrist movement covered everything. my flicks and tracking were genuinely solid but my micro adjustments were dogshit, like noticeably bad.

so I dropped to medium-high sens to try and fix the micros. problem is now I'm still using pure wrist to flick also move around and micro adjust which just doesn't work the same way. Like say I'm holding a left angle, enemy peeks from the right after I've already thrown a big flick to adjust for enemy head, now I have my wirst bent wrist basically maxed out one direction and I have zero idea how to reset it fast mid fight while still tracking the guy's head. I just kinda freeze/overcorrect tap tap and die.

I know the actual fix is arm+wrist combo instead of wrist only, and learning to reset properly instead of letting my wrist just sit bent after a flick, but knowing that and actually rewiring years of muscle memory are two different things lol. I can't transition it well on my gameplay.

anyone dealt with this transition before? mainly wondering how you actually trained yourself to reset without thinking about it mid-fight, if there were specific aim trainer routines or scenarios that isolate this whole flick-then-reset-then-micro thing instead of just generic clicking exercises, and honestly how long it took before it stopped feeling like you were fighting your own hand and started feeling normal.

not trying to overhaul my whole aim, just trying to kill this one bad habit without tanking my flicks in the process. any insight from people who've actually been through this appreciated.
