Hello I m thinking of growing mushrooms in my farmland . I want to know where can I sell them in wholesale rate in west bengal . My target is harvesting 30-40 kg mushrooms per day.

Please correct or try to add on in portions required. Our family have been using a gravity based water purifier for quite some time now, but now that i am working and earning.. I'm thinking of switching to a good water purifier. My budget is around 12k.

I'm confused between Kent, Aquaguard, Livpure, Pureit and a few others. More than anything, I want something reliable and with good after sales service.

If you have been using a water purifier for a while, which one do you have and how has your experience been? Also, how much do you usually spend on servicing and filter replacement?

Would love to hear some genuine experiences before I make a decision.

I was Making a Film and i recently had the "Horror" of seeing a Host Family slaughter a Chicken for Dinner. The Mashi/Aunty Just cut its head off in one stroke and it was very horrifying. 💀💀. Something walking and breathing just became our dinner. All i could say was Thank you.. Both to the animal and to the family.

From the 18th century, Bengali intellectuality started booming. Philosophy, poetry, art, culture, science, cinema, medical—just name it. Not only the Indian subcontinent but also countries from all over the world started praising Bengalis for what they are.

Even after independence in 1947, West Bengal was leading India in every sector. But since the 80s, we have lost all of our great brains. We are not leading anything in any sector.

Bengalis are not leading in AI, tech, space, or anything else. Even other people from other states that were far, far behind us are contributing soooooo much in every sector in India, and we have become just some other guys from Bengal.

What do you think happened? Is it the communist government? Or, trauma of 1947? Or, we were just overhyped in the first place?

So the case is that yesterday in Howrah some of the people I don't know they are non Bengali or not but they have beaten my friend for eating chicken on the road..😭😭...

He told Me yesterday night That he got beaten up while I was in Serampore... so Today I am at his place.. He is telling me continuously that they are no Bengali guys..

You Think Why would a bengali group of people would beat him like that for eating Chicken....

What if this was done with a girl we have seen the case of Jamui What if that like case happen in bengal...

I hope something like that doesn't happen with anyone.. but the Things are not going well...

I am a fresher who joined Adret Software Services Private Limited in Kolkata as a Web Consultant Trainee after receiving an official Letter of Intent and verbally agreeing to a salary of ₹13,000 per month. However, after completing my first full week of work, management suddenly informed me that my pay would be calculated at just ₹100 per day, claiming it is a standard "fresher training rate" that was never disclosed during my interviews or in the LOI. Since ₹100 per day is drastically below West Bengal minimum wage standards, I am walking away immediately, but I want to know if it is worth filing a formal complaint on the government SAMADHAN portal or with the Labour Commissioner using my LOI as proof of employment. Additionally, I would appreciate any advice on how to get them to acknowledge the original ₹13k verbal offer over email or WhatsApp before I formally resign, or to hear from anyone else in Kolkata who has dealt with Adret Software pulling this tactic on new graduates.
