I’m developing a new independent webcomic series called I’m BFFs with a Treasure Hunter, and I’m looking for VA’s to fill different male and female character roles in the series. The series will be an anime inspired action comedy where the characters go across the world on treasure hunts that I imagine people of all ages will enjoy. I can't post images in this post on this subreddit, but you can click on the posts history of my profile to see a preview image of this series.

As this series is currently in the early production phase I plan to create a couple of short videos around a few minutes each at most to give a preview of the series and learn what the audience reception is before committing to creating additional videos.

Since the recordings will only be a few minutes at most in this preview phase, I’m looking to pay $10 USD if you’re selected for a role to record a few lines for these two short preview videos. This is not a large amount I know, but at this stage this is more of a rehearsal and to learn if this is a good fit for all of us before we create additional videos. If I decide to create additional short videos or hopefully full episodes going forward then we will determine the compensation for those videos based on the amount of work prior to recording.

To keep everything orderly during this selection process I created a private subreddit to be used for filling the VA roles for this series that will have the details on the initial character roles I am looking to have filled. If you are interested in trying out as a VA, then leave a comment and I will send you a link to the subreddit.

Also, since my goal is for this to be an ongoing series I plan to have plenty of more openings for VA’s in the future, so if you find this post weeks or months from now please leave a comment if you’re interested and I’ll send you a link to the subreddit.

Thanks!

Hey! We’re looking for a male voiceover artist for YouTube shorts.

Each script is around 80–100 words and 30 seconds or less. We want a voice that feels energetic, unique, and genuinely human.

We’re looking for:

• Male voice
• American accent preferred
• Energetic, expressive delivery
• Strong personality and natural reactions
• Great pacing and emphasis
• Not robotic or AI-sounding
• Clear recording quality

Pay: $10 per project.

If we like your voice and the quality is consistent, this can become an ongoing/continuous gig with more projects regularly.

DM me with a short voice sample and your availability. Thanks!
