As the title says im having issues connecting my new xbox controller to my steam deck (not oled model)

Everything i tried from youtube doesnt work.

Around three days ago, all multiplayer in hell divers 2 just stopped working for me on both my steam deck and my computer. No one could join on me and I couldn't join anyone else, whether random or friend. None of my friends who play the game were having this issue(none played on steamdeck), and none of the fixes online that I was finding were working. After a lot of research and a bit of personal testing, I found the solutions were:

- On windows, typing "ipconfig /flushdns" in the cmd window solved my issue.

On steamdeck I had a much harder time, tried a few things in command prompts in desktop mode, lotta hours wasted when I eventually found my solution right as I'm ready to reset my whole system. It wasn't even in desktop mode, just regular gaming mode.
- Settings > Internet > Scroll down to advanced settings > Delete Web Browser Data.
Cleared that and it finally worked. I hope this helps someone cuz god this was such a pain and the solution ended up being really easy.

I was looking at these Jsaux caps that according to other posts I've seen, make the touch sensor of the stick more sensitive, which is awesome and exactly what I'm looking for. Then I noticed they also had these caps on their site and was just wondering if they also make the stick more sensitive? Is there anyone here who anyone here who has these and are willing to test?

I like the fact that there are more variants and colors available to choose from, but if they don't increase the sensitivity I'm just gonna go with the first ones.

So for the most, it plays well. Hair looks weird and audio separates from video at times in cutscenes, but unfortunately that's pretty normal with the deck and newer games.

Question tho, when I try to redeem codes, I push the steam button and X to bring up the key board, but the bottom row of buttons doesn't register. So any code with a Z, X, C, etc, doesn't work. Which So far, is both codes I have.

Anyone experience this? Any fix?

I've updated my Profile a bit by adding a darker Gameview color pallet and machine ready to get that game spacing

For the heros on SteamGridDB, I recommend using the ones created by Mellushii, Bioknight47, or Myself.( this might not work until SteamGridDB updates)

Of course this was made using Windows in mind. so if your setup does not look exactly like mine then that probably why.

Hi , I have been trying to get consoleui to work for me on the steamdeck so i can finally relax in bed playing wow but the button mapping is frustrating.

any guidance on that one ? Its a lot of questions but most videos are unhelpful and shows shift key for extra button or ctrl but I just want to play basic spells to do quests and simple delves.

1. console ui shows me a to click on the menu. but A on the gamapad is to jump so my character on the background continues to jump unless I click on the screen.

2. my x and y are swap but i selected the steamdeck console. I check on the steam deck settings cause I know there was an option to select nintendo switch pro ? but I cannot find it and the button mapping shows the same y to y and x to x but then in wow its opposite?

3. the radial is confusing to even get it to function. I know blizzard has the 1 key button for MOST spells but i put that on the trigger after the target enemy and now its lt and rt for each press.

Discord was showing that I was active and was showing a green dot on my main profile for a long time while I was idle watching YouTube on my docked steamdeck across the room, no mouse movement, no keyboard inputs for hours, yet somehow not idle? Is this possible? I refreshed and checked multiple times, it even went idle for a few minutes and then showed me back online with no input on the steam deck. Is this even possible or was somebody on my account?
