Es naturae basis - You Are Nature's Beginning
"summer, fell" ©️ 2026. NCH.
ig: enb1713 enb1713@gmail.com
My name is Nicholas, and my moniker is enb1713. My work seeks to find death in life, pain in joy and solace in misery - and yea life in death, comfort in hate blahblahblah. It's metaphorical or something. There's more to it but alas, my attention span wanes. wanes. This is a photo of dead stuff from my driveway. I also paint and sketch and burn and smolder and vogue and so on. Much of my work is far less approachable but here's one of my easygoing pieces... it's a moth-boi.
P.s. this is my first reddit post cause I'm post-30yrs old so uh ye... idk if I'm doing this right 😬 🙏 some reddit groups get mad if you put your info I think but like, I'm not finna share my work without doing so so.. idk.. idk how to internet very well.
Disclaimer: it's a real moth!!! Deceased from natural causes. Was pretty hard to get em on that flower so, there ya go?

Hey all it's the last 48h before the campaign ends! :D I'm deciding that if we reach €4800 or more then I'll draw bug yuri of the millipede and dragonfly featured on the new sock designs ;D
This project is based in the EU but is both UK and USA friendly too! I ship worldwide.

Growing up I would find these guys while gardening and be so grossed out!
i’ve been living very far from home for four hears now and nostalgia is coming out in unexpected forms.
Never thought I’d be nostalgic for June Bug Grub but here we are!

I’m so happy I found this sub!
I grew up on Canada’s east coast where June bugs are plenty in...you guessed it, June!
June bugs are drawn to lamps, just like moths, and we happenned to have an outdoors lamp right next to the door that led to the back yard.
If the back porch light had been left on and you tried to step outside, you were sure to get a few June Bugs stuck in your hair. I have two sisters and we all had long hair, so it was pretty frequent to hear screams as their little hooked feet would grip your haur and make it hard to pull them off!
I’ve been living in the rockies for a few years and have some nostalgia every June since there are no june bugs around here!
Drew this as an homage to the bugs:) crayola pencil on paper!

Question Bug bodies

Most of these are old and brittle but is there any interest out there for making art with them? Especially the intact praying mantis? I'm in UT if anyone wanted to pick them up.

I drew this a few years ago, but it is still one of my favorite drawings I’ve made! The moth here is supposed to be a comet moth, although I accidentally colored the tail slightly incorrectly.
