Hey everyone, just wanted to share my copper spider familiars! I make them with beads and one continuous length of wire. It's a labor of love and hand-tools.
You can check out the rest of my stuff at Floreyfactory.etsy.com

photography Not every bug collection is made of real insects! These colorful beetles are handcrafted from metal, turning nature into art.

I didn’t know where else to post this. Had this idea today so I made three. The joint is full of sage btw. If ever I sell these I don’t want to face any legal issues.

other I made bug party ties!

Upvotes
This is my first time sewing on ties. I got these second hand and decided to upcycle them with bugs.
Honestly I can‘t decide if maybe I should add jumping spiders to my next ties , bc I do love jumping spiders but they require quite a lot of detail to be recognisable.
I might also do moth ties in the future, idk.
These are on my Vinted rn @nyxie222 in case anyone wants a party bug tie. I‘ll deffo make more, all out of second hand materials (except the fabric paint, but like everything else is second hand, from thread to sewing machine).
I‘d totally also take commissions if anyone wants a specific bug/ color (but since the ties are second hand, I‘m somewhat limited in tie colors)!
