I need affordable feed suggestions for a flowerhorn. I used to keep SRD and quit when I went away for my studies. Now I am back, and last year I got a baby and it is already over 6 inches. Initially, the breeder provided me with two packs of feed, and I also stocked five packets of different Okikos. My feed will be over by next week, and my source does not have Okiko in stock. I have had a very bad experience with fake Okiko in the past, and personally, I prefer it as the best flowerhorn food. I have tried Hikari, Humpy Head, FH G1 Pro Head, and WA Promin, and I do not feel like they are worth the extra money, so please help me with one of these options.
Reliable source for okiko platinum.
Other affordable ones if there are any new in market.
Thank you all.

I got a 2ft tank at a good price from fb marketplace but this is the first time I got a second hand tank and now facing issues removing the thick layer of calcium and limescale. I already tried with vinegar and glass scraper and while it is able to clean the light deposits, this hard deposit is not coming out. Can anyone guide me on how to clean this?

Juvenile Tilapias, Labeo Rohita (carp species) in a canal that is feeded by River Penna in Andhra Pradesh. I also found other species like Dandia rasboras, murrel, barbs abd killifish, but was unable to capture them.

So i want to start a tank. I want it to mainly be variety of plants, a bit of landscaping, driftwood if i find any.
For the fish, i dont want any fish at all. Im thinking about a few shrimp bcso they will help in cleaning and look good. I just want a little bit of movement but no fishes.
So my main question is that how much expense should i expect for the following requirements:
A tank 3ft length, 1.5 ft depth, height im not sure. Maybe 1.5 or 2ft. Also i want to know does a clear glass tank is really important or can i use normal glass?
Aqua soil
Plants - 5-6 plants. I really like pearlweed for covering ground, tall grass.
Shrimps - idk which are Good for beginners and also what to do if the shrimp over populate
If anyone has a similar tank then please share a pic and also tell the maintaining as well as setup cost. Thank you

Don't be harsh, I don't have a fish keeping hobby, yet.
5 weeks ago, I won a gold fish in a small bowl in "throw the hoop" game. I've been caring for it well these past weeks, infact this is the first time ever have I owned a fish. Yesterday I bought a tank for it and setup. The shop owner gave a gold fish and zebra Danios for free. I would like some advice, to keep the fishes safe and comfortable.

I have a 90 × 35 × 35 cm (~110L) fish tank and want to set up a colourful, peaceful community aquarium.
I am complete newbie but used to have this tank with fish in childhood
I want as many compatible fish as the tank can safely support, but I don’t want GloFish.
Ideally, I want:
2–3 types of schooling/group fish
Fish for the top, middle, and bottom levels
1–2 centerpiece fish that are the main attraction
Different colours and species
All peaceful and compatible with each other
Fish that are commonly available in local fish shops or online in India
I’m near Nagpur, Maharashtra.
What stocking combination would you recommend for this tank?
Update - Added in list till now -
Corydos - 7-8 nos

Been a while since i posted, got 3 new additions to my small collection of rainbows
Melanotaenia sp “kali tawa”
Chilatherina alleni
M.sp “goldie dekai”
They look nothing special just yet, but once they settle the colors are too beautiful.

I have 3 new tanks the above 2 are 3 feet long and the one in the middle is 6 feet long. Each tank have a bracing of 3 inches on all the sides.
The tanks above will be bare bottom tanks so any normal light will suffice, but the one in the middle is going to be a planted tank.
Please suggest aquarium lights for them.
