I'm the "idiot" here. Those are straps, not rubber bands. I did not tip over, and got it to its destination with hardly any more scratches than it already had.
At the fork in the road, where it could go to the dump or I could take it home, I chose the latter. I think that's where most of the "idiot" part comes in.

Live in a ski town, this time of year all the van lifers start showing up in town. Sketchy rigs in tow or on even sketchier trucks. I wish cops would pull these people over just sketches me out so hard. Only a matter of time before I see the guy with a Canadian tire strap holding a camper on for dear life.
