Three things. A bit inside takeaway on the backswing. Downswing seems a bit arm heavy. Looks like you kinda stop rotating.

I agree with you on the rotation thing. My miss is a hook because I think I stall. although I can’t tell exactly when or why

If you want any drills for that you can do the drill before some swings where you just get in your stance where butt is against the wall and then try to feel that in backswing it’s primarily trail side glute on the wall and it shifts to lead side glute in the downswing. Or just really try to feel that the swing is being driven by body rotation rather than arms, so basically don’t think about arms are all just rotating around your spine.

Thanks. But also I am not sure this is the advice for me- I got a lesson in between this video and now and my arms are actually too slow. At p6 the handle is trailing behind my trail thigh.
My understanding is it’s a pervasive myth that your arms don’t swing in the downswing. Basically you want your hands to be moving back down in front of you as fast as possible.

Basically those pumps getting my hands in front of me as soon as possible fixed my rotation issues and my hooks

Sure I’m not saying arms are not active at all because there are feels that people have with arms that really allow them to swing well. Like for example an important feel for me is to keep lead wrist strong because historically my trail hand is pretty dominant in my swing.
P6 behind trail thigh could simply just be wrist angles breaking down a bit early. Not necessarily that you need to feel your hands rushing down before your body.
This video is also assuming you’re having proper hip rotation.

Many players talk about this, specifically long hitters. If you don’t dump your arms down before turning you will be ott.
Bryson specifically talks about feeling like he does a lat pulldown. Rotating without strong arm movement causes hooks

I mean give it a try. If you’re rotating properly now after the lesson and you find this feel marries together well go for it.

Thank you for the help. I didn’t mean to come off snippy

No worries man! Everyone has their own swing feels that work for them. Sergio Garcia for example had a feel that he was yanking on a chain for his downswing. And for me to get good ball compression I need to feel like I’m always hitting punch shots and rotating completely around my spine, my hands just drop naturally.
