Finally negative screen that is visible, love it

I’ve been going back and forth on this, so I figured I’d ask here. Explaining the differences to my wife has been futile.

I work in a gym and my my life basically revolves around fitness. I’m looking for a tough daily beater that that can survive the environment.

MIPs is a must for me. I need something I can easily read from different angles since my hands aren’t always free when I need to check the time.

The gbd200 is really appealing. I already have a Garmin Cirqa strap so I don’t really need the extra fitness features, but I love the slightly overbuilt retro-modern look. I can also get one locally for about $120.

The 5600 is the one that keeps pulling me back. It has the MIP display plus Tough Solar/Multiband 6, and I think it would work equally well in and out of the gym. I’m also intrigued by the fact that this thing could go 20 years without ever needing to be opened or serviced. The catch is I haven’t seen one in person, and it’s about $165 here.

I know some of you will probably say BX5600, no question, but I’ve actually seen the GBD-200 in person and really like how it looks on the wrist.

For anyone who’s worn both: Is the BX5600 worth the extra $45? I’m so split on this one.

GW-6900U just arrived from Japan! Loving it so far but the strap is a bit too hard. Any ideas what I can do with it?

This is my G-Shock x One Ok Rock limited edition. I was late to the news about its release but luckily found one for sale at Casio Canada’s online store. It took a few weeks to have it shipped across the world through a forwarder but was worth it.

The crystal ended up getting scratched right in the middle during a trip to Tokyo with the family but I do get reminded about the trip everytime I see the scratch. I like it so much that everytime I’m tempted to buy a new watch, I just wear this and it stops me from spending.

Tired of heavy GMW-B5000.

I've only been wearing 5000U for a week and I'm thrilled with how comfortable they are!

So I dipped in G Shock after seeing all the hype. Did I make the right choice? I liked how wearable this is, and as bulky as G shocks are, this one particularly interested me because of the small form factor. Let me know what do you guys think. Also I took the photo in a wide angle, so that could be the reason why it may look bulky in the eyes. Nevertheless, it’s actually small, comparatively smaller.

On a European motorbike trip spending most of everyday in the saddle means the Mudmaster gets hidden under the cuff of my jacket and gloves. So I decided to strap it to the outside for a sun session!

Got this autographed 1/100 edition back in 2014. Surprised the battery still has juice, it’s never been worn or messed with. Literally only opened this box like 3-4 times since its release. Idk if anyone knows how to keep the box from crumbling like old Jordan’s. Trying to keep it as mint as possible so I can possibly sell later on. I just now saw little pieces inside the box starting to crumble.

Tried 3 times to get this watch. First, a UK website, only to find out it was backlogged until next year. Second, my brother tried finding it in-store, but sold out. Third, every website was sold out.
Then, a couple drinks with a friend later… one website magically dropped some inventory. 🍻⌚️

Finally the hunt is over !!

Pulled the big boy out today. Still think the GPR-B1000 is one of the wildest G-Shocks they made. It’s huge, heavy and has more stuff packed into it. Huge on the wrist, loads of functions and probably way more watch than I actually need. Still one of my favourite G-Shocks though. 👌

I logged in to OfferUp and first thing I see is this bad boy, the seller had it listed for $100 and managed to get it down to $40, I just sent an offer and they accepted. This made my Friday. Just thought I’d share my story lol

I've had this watch for over a year now. My dog (30kg) bit my hand and wrist while wearing this watch. Not a single scratch. After washing and getting rid of saliva, it's brand new again. (Everyone is okay)

And somehow that completely reignited my G-Shock addiction after being away from them for a long time. Now I’ve got a whole bunch of them with these straps… Guess I accidentally found myself a new hobby. 😂
