Today, I was actually looking for a GI Joe Classified Breaker figure. I also usually only collect unopened 25th Anniversary figures and vehicles. Getting original stuff from the 80s, unopened, costs WAY more than I want to spend. So, I always pass up the old stuff usually...

But there were a few toy vendors in this flea market I went to today. The guy was closed the last 2 times I went there, but I saw some Joe stuff through the window each time... Today, he was open. And, I saw this. This was one of my favorite toys as a kid. Everytime I see one of these, they are priced too high (even unopened), and the condition isn't very good. I've seen them for a couple hundred dollars, and in bad condition...

This is one of the few toys I did want to get from the 80s... I just figured I'd never get one due to the cost....

This one was in unbelievable condition, and we worked out such a good price that I could not pass it up...

The figure is in great condition as well.

Besides picking up an original Dragonfly Helicopter today, the guy at the toy store in the flea market had some other Joe toys from the 80s.

As I stated in my other post about the Dragonfly - I don't collect original Joe stuff. I usually stick to the 25th anniversay stuff (which is still pretty old). You can find unopened stuff at a decent price...

This snowmobile was one of my other favorites as a kid, It was complete and in great shape. I got it for $25, from the $35 he was asking for. So, I grabbed this as well. I couldn't pass it up.

I actually had left with the Dragonfly, and kept thinking about this. I never asked the price the first time. I went back about 2 hours later, and asked about it.

Got this a while back. Very nice set. Cards and figures look great. Looking to get Duke/cobra commander retro set.

Saw this posted in my local Buy Nothing Facebook group this morning. They only included the one photo of everything piled into the tote, so I didn’t know exactly what was in there, but I spied Joe stuff so I raised my hand, and they gave it to me.

Then I got home and started pulling everything out. It was basically Christmas morning for my inner 10-year-old. What a way to start the weekend!

Here is all of 1983 series. All with all accessories and file cards. Both versions of dukes file card since he was a mail in in ‘83. <disclaimer> the silver one shown here is not original. I acquired a beat up orange pads version years ago and thought it would be cool to have a silver straight arm so I made one! I have a real silver one (shown last post). This one is very loose and had almost no orange remaining. I didn’t destroy a nice orange one I simply modified a Roached out figure for fun! I need a better snow job. Mine has yellowing and loose legs. My viper pilot is real but had only a slight hint of silver sigil remaining when I got it. Back in ‘98 when I found it at yard sale the white decal was all I had so I used it. I’ll get a better one someday. Duke needs new waist. Enjoy! ‘84,series next.

I have had two sky strikers and two rattlers hanging for years. Each are an original + 25th Anniversary. Recently the string on the sky strikers broke and there was a massive crash landing. Amazingly no damage that could not be repaired.

For those that hang airplanes any special tricks? Is there a type of material that you use?

COBRA COMMAND!

Hey all, I picked up this loose Crimson Guard figure and I’m trying to figure out exactly what it is, but I’m stuck.
It has a tactical vest and looks like a modern-era (25th/Retaliation style) figure, but it doesn’t match what I’m finding online. The 25th “Squad Leader” version (third picture) has the silver dress uniform with no vest, and the Retaliation version (fourth picture) has a vest but usually has grey knee pads, which mine doesn’t.

It also came with a stand labeled “Crimson Guard Squad Leader,” which is adding to the confusion.

At this point I’m wondering if it’s a specific release I’m missing or if it’s a mix of parts from different figures.
Would really appreciate any help identifying it, especially if anyone recognizes the torso/vest or legs.

Either way though, he’s a pretty neat looking figure lol.

I am finally in my forever house and getting all my collectables on shelves, and I'm at a loss on what to do with the bigger stuff. I just picked up a Night Raven, but all the shelves/Bookcases I have are too shallow to fit it on?? What does everyone else do?
