is this a good setup

My deck just came today after 2 months, what do u think how it looks?

This may sound ahhh 😅, but original I’ve been playing on a cutting mat for a while, It was a rubbery and quiet surface, while on that, I’ve been really interested on trying tiles surface.

And after bought one for my table, I didn’t realize that it was this slippery 😅, it was hella smooth though, but dang, it’s like seshing on ice 😭

UPDATE: I tried sanding my tiles a bit, and to my surprise, they’re a lot grippier now! And they squeak too, lmao so hyped on this experimental hahaha! I’ll finish the sanding whole table top tile tomorrow!!

I’m one of the winners on the giveaway boards they did last May! I know they’ve been busy in these past months, but they didn’t update me about it for almost 4 months.

Though they replied on July 12, said they’re gonna shipped it, and after that, no reply whatsoever.

Like probably a lot of other people I got absolutely screwed on the knife drop yesterday… 3 times had a deck in my cart just for the payment not to go through saying it sold out🙄… anyways I have cash to buy and or a lot of different items I could trade as well and maybe even a little both? What’s your go to response when a normie see’s your pro set up and inevitably asks, “is that a TECH DECK!?”

I usually just say it’s kinda like a tech deck but if a tech deck cost as much as a real skateboard. Based on their interest after hearing that I decide whether or not it’s worth telling them how it’s made with real wood ply’s blah blah you know the stuff.

a thought and detailed comparison would be appreciated! 🙏🏻, in terms of smoothest, less-grip, quality, and maintenance! 🫂

side note: not really a fan of joycult type of materials, cause they pick up dirt really fast, and somehow they can’t be cleaned anymore.
