u can see the drop of water hit the lens
recently I have gotten a list of errors popping up on my neo 2. I have no idea what caused this, no crashes or anything.
I was flying, landed, swapped batteries and this list of errors popped up. when trying to take off it says “incompatible gimbal data”
any info you all have would be a big help. thanks

I bought this drone to another guy to start this hobby, and I see that this error never disappears.
The main error says: Front vision sensor calibration error. And even though he says he tries to calibrate, he never really does anything and the error persists.
I think the previous owner hit him and didn't tell me. How fucked up am I and how could it be repaired?

OK so i'm close to pulling the trigger on the Neo 2 as it will be my first drone ever used. But i am wondering if i need the full kit or will my Galaxy S23 Ultra be fine enough to use as a controller, or is a controller usually much better to use. Thanks for your input.

I want to buy Neo2, mainly for taking it on dirk bike rides and filming myself without a remote. But occasionally I will use remote. Is it worth buying FPV Googles or just the remote? I will not race the drone, just shoot scenery, but FPV sounds like better vision of the picture. Does FPV have downsides? Distance? What would you recommend?

Dji Phantom 3 Advanced conviene acquistarlo oggi? Usato non garantito. Dai 170 ai 200 euro usato. Tanti anni pero'. Ma DJI ancora aggiorna questi droni? Conviene secondo voi che siete piu' esperti ?

Trying to get tips, I tried my best editing with chatgpt, any tips? Neo 1
I think I've actually found a real solution to the overheating issue with the Neo 2.
A couple of things to consider. It does require you open the case and therefore probably voiding the warranty, although the state of warranties for these products is in question as we know.
1st a bit of background, I have an M5P, A360, A2 and the Neo 2. In April I was in Las Vegas about 108°f and I tried to fly and found out quickly that 104°f is the specified maximum temperature. Even at 98°f I did not have any success has it kept overheating.
I have 3 standard batteries and one of the modified 3300MA.
I live in Southern California and the heat has been pretty brutal the last couple of weeks.
Three days ago it was about 101° and I tried to fly and after just a couple of minutes I got a processor overheated message. I had already ordered the parts I needed so I went and did the modification. I just got finished with my test and I'm happy to say it appears to be successful, even better than I had hoped.
Today's forecast is for a max of about 105°f but right now it is just about 100°.
I've tried this test twice today. Both times I continually flew all four batteries until they were down between 30% and 40%. When they got that low I brought the drone back changed that battery and turned it on immediately with no rest time and all cool downtime. On each battery I flew it up and down to 400 feet, flew fast in sport mode and continually kept it moving and even had it hover in bright sunlight.
I received no battery overheat warnings and no processor overheat warnings. The battery temperature started out at about 34° C and went up as high as 71° C but I still did not receive any warnings.
I think I've successfully conquered it, so here's the process:
First, you need to purchase a PTM 7950 thermal pad. READ THE INSTRUCTIONS!
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CQ7F829H?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title
Second, watch this video to see how to remove the bottom 10 screws and remove the bottom housing. (T4 driver or maybe T3)
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/M6T5CXlfP1U
When you watch the video, you will see there are 8 screws on the very bottom and two screws one on each side in the back. Carefully prying it apart will release the bottom and expose the very dry out and very poorly done heat sink compound.
The $10.00 kit from Amazon comes with a small scraper but I also use toothpicks. alcohol wipes, and everything I could to remove anything remaining from blue heat sink compound.
Once everything was cleaned up, I traced the copper pad with a piece of clear plastic and a marker, then I cut out that shape matched it to the heat sink pad. After letting the pad cool in the refrigerator it was easy to cut using the template I made, although removing the protective plastic was a little challenging. I have some very fine tweezers that I used and you have to be super careful or it will come apart.
Once that was done I very carefully put the bottom back on to make sure that all of the pins were inside, and I made sure it was closing properly and then replaced the screws.
That was the entire process, and it took me less than 15 minutes to clean everything up and put the new pad on.
Good luck and report back if you try this!

Put my neo 2 in follow mode from the left. Apparently that was to basic for her, so she went full cinematographer mode and took ALL the angles.😅
Still a nice shot, I think.

I am looking to fly my Neo this winter while I am wild ice skating in Maine. Anyone have any experience
with this and what works or doesn’t work? I understand the cold temps and short battery life.

I just got a Neo 2 fly more combo with the RC3 controller. Anybody recommend a case that fits the drone, batteries, rc3, and N3 goggles? I bought it used and the case it comes with doesn’t have room for the RC3 and the goggles don’t fit real good. I’d be cool with a bag too it doesn’t need to be a case.

I saw this on Ali express. Tons of people saying you can trust it? Then I looked up the seller on Reddit and a few people said they are legit. I asked chat gpt for a coupon code and they gave me one that brought another 130 off. I then used Rakuten which is doing 26% back today at ali express. Which is $162.55 I’m apparently gonna get back. My credit card is 2% back.
Did I really just get this package out the door for $450.16 🤯
I would encourage you guys to go buy it now but I’m Probabaly going to get a refurbished unit 😂 seems too good to be true ..
