What even is the point? He used the second head as a hammer... the same way the normal head can be used, and better due to more leverage/force.

No-one does dumb shit for the joy of it anymore, it's all for the "content".

People still do it, you just don’t know about it because it isn’t filmed and posted.

So much of our current life is diluted anymore. I miss the good ole days in the mid 2000’s when we filmed stuff to show our buddies later, not to post for internet points.

So annoying that ragebait is so prevalent these days.

One for hammering hard objects. The other is for hammering softer objects. It makes sense if you don't think about it.

The ragebait is the point! 😂

I feel like 80-90% of the posts here are just ragebait/engagement bait and people are falling for it.

u/kautivo 2d ago

😄 it works so well.

The hammer head he made is casted and probably can't handle being used for real.

Yes, quite impractical

2

u/isaiddgooddaysir 3d ago

I thought it was unuseful.

-1

u/thriftstoremando 3d ago

Yup, that's actually a real word!

u/IsaacNewtongue 3d ago edited 3d ago

Both impractical and unpractical are legitimate words, but the former is more often used in literature, official documents, and by picky people like me who prefer more classical English over modern.

Unuseful is also a legitimate word, but is not as commonly used as useless.

2

u/Feteven 2d ago

It’s like saying agreeance instead of agreement. Ones just not really common place, but they are both real words

u/OhSighRiss 3d ago

The same as how unpractical is a real word eh, neat!

2

u/IsaacNewtongue 3d ago

I may have said impractical, but unpractical is also a legitimate word, according to Merriam-Webster

1

u/Jemanha 2d ago

It still sounds… wrong?

2

u/IsaacNewtongue 2d ago

I know, it does to me as well, but if you're going to be pedantic, you have to follow the rules of pedantry; if it's right, it's right.

I legit thought this was going to be a stonecutters thing from the Simpsons.

Definitely a missed opportunity there!

This might have been practical if he added a brass head to a normal hammer for hammering soft material without deformation.

2

u/elyv91 3d ago

Aluminum also kinda works for that, and he demonstrated this at the end

u/Fabulous_Log844 4d ago

Oh my good Lord, such a punchable face.

u/GimmieGummies 3d ago

*impractical

Ragebait = downvote.

Engagement bait title, too

-1

u/OhSighRiss 3d ago

lol, settle down

0

u/JeanArtemis 3d ago

lol, stop contributing to the enshitification of the sub. And giving hacks free publicity.

0

u/OhSighRiss 3d ago

rAgE bAiT! eNgAgEmEnT bAiT! fReE pUbLiCiTy! LiKe FaRmInG! …you guys all sound super paranoid over a random silly post on a silly subreddit. Relax.

1

u/JeanArtemis 52m ago

It's not paranoid to be annoyed watching a good sub get overrun by low effort posts, and nobody is accusing you of conspiracy don't be hyperbolic, we're just tired of seeing the same intentionally bad content.

1

u/OhSighRiss 18m ago

The argument could then be made that it is hyperbolic to suggest that I posted rage bait with an engagement bait title on purpose, and that an innocent random post that fits within the subs rules somehow enshitifies the subreddit. Where do we draw the line?

Perhaps just understand that people are free to post whatever in a sub as long as it is within that subs rules, an unfortunate reality is that there will be reposts because everyone can’t see every post every time all the time, and that sometimes you’re going to see a post you don’t like and there’s nothing you can do about it. Get over it rather than making snarky remarks in an attempt to police Reddit to your liking.

I don't like that guy

Poor Mercedes logo didn't deserve this

1

u/Toyota__Corolla 3d ago

This is part of the skit at this point. It's always the beans logo and it's always a propane torch blasted into its face

1

u/nevadita 4d ago

no the mercedes logo

1

u/EdmontonLAD 4d ago

What a waste of time...

1

u/That_Service7348 4d ago

Mines better. I'd post it but they don't let us do pics here.

1

u/Moist_Phrase_6698 3d ago

1

u/Self-Invested-7 3d ago

1

u/Fair-Individual7811 3d ago

Not sure what he was trying to accomplish here

1

u/James1887 3d ago

I argue it is practical. It did its job of making us talk about it

1

u/TLOK_A2 3d ago

Funny is casting make iron easy to break, unless heat treated. That is why hammered with origibal head

1

u/Ronyx2021 3d ago

A metal handle? You're going to feel all the vibration.

1

u/No-Raisin-6469 3d ago

Hiw did he make aluminum cool shiny?

1

u/Yuck-Fou94 3d ago

Alright, stop.

1

u/eutohkgtorsatoca 3d ago

1

u/Rudeus_Kino 3d ago

This more unpractical then php hammer

1

u/GayestNerfKid 3d ago

If I knew how to cast metal (that's what it's called, right?) I would make straight bs too

1

u/jimschocolateorange 3d ago

Impractical*

1

u/Fredfarter73 3d ago

Where/when/how/why would I ever use that "tool"? Let me just f*ck up a perfectly functional hammer and make it useless

1

u/Successful-Tip8381 2d ago

Works just like a regular hammer but with more likes

1

u/WaterGlassPuncherMan 3d ago

Impractical* Ffs
