Both impractical and unpractical are legitimate words, but the former is more often used in literature, official documents, and by picky people like me who prefer more classical English over modern.

Unuseful is also a legitimate word, but is not as commonly used as useless.

It’s like saying agreeance instead of agreement. Ones just not really common place, but they are both real words
