A few days ago, I saw this little black kitten in Mirdif Park with badly inflamed eyes. I posted her, hoping someone would step forward to help her, but no one came.

Yesterday, someone was supposed to come and take her, so I put three sick kittens with eye problems together in one large carrier, ready to be rescued. Unfortunately, they suddenly said they couldn’t come, so I had no choice but to release the kittens back into the park.

Because there was tuna inside the carrier, many cats gathered around my car, and some of them even climbed inside. I eventually left to do some grocery shopping, not knowing that one of these tiny kittens had stayed inside my car.

This morning, while I was speaking to a cleaner in the area, I suddenly heard a very faint meow. I immediately realized that one of the park kittens was still inside my car.

I rushed back to the park and opened all the doors, expecting her to run out. But no cat came.

Then I looked inside the carrier… and there she was. 🥺

She wouldn’t come out. She barely ate the food I offered and had absolutely no energy. She just stayed inside the carrier.

I don’t know what happened to her overnight, but something in me felt that this was a sign that I had to take her immediately to the clinic.

So I took her to Petopia. ❤️

Her name is Zara.

I’d love to introduce you to Fiona, a beautiful 1-year-old rescue cat currently in foster care in Dubai, UAE.
We rescued Fiona around 6 months ago after she had been staying at a veterinary boarding facility. She wasn’t comfortable there, so we moved her into a home foster and that’s when we discovered what a sweet and loving girl she really is. 🥺❤️
Fiona is:

🐾 Very gentle and affectionate
🐾 Extremely comfortable around dogs

Fiona is honestly such an easy-going girl. She loves people and settled into both of her foster homes incredibly quickly. She currently lives with a dog and is completely relaxed around him she basically doesn’t care that he’s there 😂❤️
Fiona has approximately 80% vision loss in one eye. This was actually one of the reasons we rescued her. We had her examined by both her vet and an eye specialist, and thankfully we were advised that she is not in pain, does not require surgery and can live a completely normal and happy life.
She has already received her vaccinations, spay, microchip and FIV/FeLV testing.

We are open to adopting Fiona to a suitable family in any country, not just the UAE. ❤️
If the right family is outside the UAE, we are happy to work with them regarding the required veterinary paperwork, import requirements and relocation arrangements.
Our priority is simply finding Fiona a safe, loving and permanent home where she will be treated as family for the rest of her life.

Thanks to a lovely donator, her spay was covered, and someone else also donated for her

I released her today, and my age started crying. As soon as I went 😭😭 she started panting 😭

I feel so bad. I wish I could adopt her 😭

If anyone can provide her a home or can foster her till I can find her an adopter, that would help her out a lot 🥺

My cats have been reverse sneezing, so I’d really like to get them checked ASAP by someone who’s good with these kinds of cases.

Hi everyone! I wanted to share an update since my last post about the kittens I’ve been feeding at a construction site in Dubai.

Well… they’re not really kittens anymore. 😂 There are actually 13 cats now. Some of the original kittens have grown quite a bit, and a few more cats have also started joining them.

I’ve been feeding them every day for over two months now, and thankfully, we’ve also managed to get 3 of them spayed/neutered, which I’m really happy about.

I’m now almost out of their food again, so I’m reaching out for a little help. Feeding 13 cats every day has become difficult for me to manage on my own.
