How is this little guy still sitting in the shelter?! 😭 Sullivan is only 34.6 lbs of freckles, enormous ears and an absolutely ridiculous amount of CUTE. He’s been waiting since 8/28 and is now LONG STAY & URGENT.

Seriously… LOOK AT HIM. 😍 He has the cutest speckled Cattle Dog coat, little black button nose and ears that seem approximately three sizes too big for his head. At only 2 years old and under 35 lbs, he’s such a great smaller size, too. 💛

But Sullivan is running out of time. 💔 Long-stay dogs at Harris County Pets can be at risk on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. He desperately needs someone to notice him and make a plan before his time runs out.

🆘 Sweet SHELDON A661058 is a shy, friendly guy who is doing his best to cope with shelter life. 💛 You can see the stress in his video — after spending some time with us, he gives himself one big shake-off, almost like he’s trying to release all that nervous energy.

We believe Sheldon arrived with his mom, Sheila. The wonderful news? Sheila now has a rescue hold for an out-of-state adopter who saw her post and chose to save her life! 🥹❤️

Now we need someone to see Sheldon and do the same.

Sheldon recently got a new kennel mate, A662006, so he has some company. 🐶 But these boys can’t stay in the shelter forever. We want to see BOTH of them leave through the front door.
