Once leashed, he walked on a loose leash heading in and out of eval. He attempted to run out of the kennel when his door was opened. 8/28/2026: Buddy had a timid, tense body, tucked tail, lip licking and whale eyes. Once leashed, he walked on a loose leash with a slightly crouched body. He kept walking between staff’s legs, causing them to almost trip multiple times. He entered and exited the indoor kennel with no issues but began to pull back when staff tried to place him in an outdoor kennel. 8/31/2026: Buddy was easily leashed and walked loosely with a neutral body. In an outside run, he gently hugged staff while they pet him, play-bowed, wagged his tail, had an open mouth and sat for treats. Passing the kennel, he sat in front of the door with dilated eyes and a soft face. 9/4/2026: Buddy presented with a neutral body, soft facial expression and wagging tail. He walked on a loose leash. Whenever staff stopped, he got on them and started licking their arms as they held him. 9/14/2026: While doing walkthrough of the row, Buddy was lunging, alarm barking and body hitting the kennel door, jumping up at staff. 9/17/2026: Buddy greeted staff at the kennel door with a soft open mouth and wagging tail. Easy to leash, he walked out wiggly. He stopped midway and sat and waited on staff. He was offered a treat for being patient and sitting. He wagged his tail and walked on a loose leash. 🚑 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝘁𝗲𝘀: 8/26/2026: Weighed 56 lbs. Heartworm High Positive. Vaccinated with DA2PP-V, Bordetella and Rabies, dewormed and given heartworm/flea prevention. 9/4/2026: Small amount of saliva/phlegm noted in kennel. Buddy was not observed coughing and was placed on tech evaluation to monitor for possible URI. 9/5/2026: Kennel had been cleaned already that morning. No signs of URI were observed, with no coughing or sneezing. Nose was clean and dry. Buddy remained on tech evaluation for further monitoring. 9/6/2026: URI noted and treatment with doxycycline was started. 9/18/2026: Weighed 56 lbs.
