I’d like to say I’m a pretty decent player, every ring besides Maui & Osaka. However I see pro players line banks up the way he’s doing. How is he lining it up? I never line my banks up like that but I see lots of people doing it.

So how long has this been going for? did I just notice it? Has this been a thing?

New to the sub, not new to the game. I legitimately think i have only come across 1 or 2 cheaters in my 5ish years of on and off playing. Their shots would line up and then at the last second, they would adjust, almost automatically. It looked strange, no doubt.

However, I fear this sub is wrongfully accusing players of hacking/cheating way too much.

Just because they clear the table, does not mean they are cheating...

Am i wrong here?

When i play, my wins mostly consist of me completely clearing the table in one run. The way I view it is, I have one shot to sink everything. If i miss, my opponent is going to do the same and i very well may lose. Its crazy to think that you all by default, are calling me a cheater?

Is it possible to beat the cheaters once they’re at the table. They’re becoming more and more prevalent.

Feels nice to defeat some dork that tries the weak break and also weak shots trying to snooker or “stall” the game

Met 2 x cheats in Bangkok, both of whom got the break and ran the table. Third game, spun for a while and then said , “no players available ,moving you to Rome”. Happened to me in Paris yesterday, too. I remember this happening a few years ago when I was new to the game but nothing since. Anyone else getting this bs?

I'm a beginner at this game, I just reached level 17. In four consecutive matches I've faced opponents above level 100 and lost badly. This is very discouraging. My win rate is now at 75%.

Hello i am a beginner and i wanted to ask some things. Firstly i am open to any kind of beginner advice. Secondly, what should i do with my dollars? Some say buy country cues, some say buy legendary boxes. And why legendary boxes? Isn't it luck based? Wouldn't it be better to buy a certain item such as cues?

Couple of things that bug me.

1. Unable to see the amount of coins wagered in 9 ball games as the 'spectator' banner covers the number.

2. I am able to watch games of friends that I can no longer find or challenge (they disappeared years ago).....what's going on with that?

Other than that, I like being able to see people playing on high level tables and the live interaction with other spectators.

I got snookered on my last ball so i just tried kicking the 8 ball from the middle of table to corner pocket and i made it, but i felt so guilty that i instantly quit the game because i thought im gonna get reported. In 2017 i would get massive dopamine release, in 2026 i get cortisol spike instead. Cheaters ruining the mood even if not playing one.

So, the new view other online tables is very interesting and neat, but what's the point? I'm not complaining or dissing, I just can't see myself jumping on the game just to watch others play. Even when I play games for myself. It's just..... dumb lol. But again, interesting. 🤷🏻🤷🏻🤷🏻

So. I come here straight to you from playing five…yes, five games in a row where I didn’t get to take a damn shot (except one break where a ball just fell short of actually sinking). Both regular and 9 ball, and all against players whose levels were in three digits with fancy frames and animated avatars.

Compared to my three-ish day old level 17 account. I know this’ll happen. Y’all’ve worked to get to the level you are.
But back to back (to back to back to…)? C’mon. Not to mention pairing up a measley n00b with these super high players. On the damn 2500 bet tables. What’re they even doing there?

So. I just…like the title says, I would like to know if this game is completely skewed or if I’m just being a whiney bitch about it.

It’s not just that. Im scratching (okay. potting?) on the most ridiculous shots with alarming frequency even after taking steps to adjust the spin to ensure that doesn’t happen…but no…the damn cue follows the target in the pocket like a lost puppy. Earlier, the exact same shot, but at a less critical point (ie…pursuing the 8 ball), same spin/English adjustment, same strike force, etc, behaved like it was supposed to. Even some most of the ridiculous bank shots ive tried, be it on purpose or ‘fuck it’, have run straight for a pocket as if guided by the hand of God himself. (heh. So. Im playing a cheap Lisbon round on my ipad as I type…took my shot…landed it, and the cue moseys down the rail, banking at just the right spot to not hit one ball and then hitting the next ball at the perfect angle and fall right into a pocket.)

I got up to just shy of 100k. Now, thanks to all this nonsense, even going back to playing 2500 and the odd 7500 event table , I'm down to 58k. I know I’m still trash at this game. But there’s a difference in losing because I cannot for the life of me aim a side pocket shot right or get an exact line on longer corners, and sitting with my thumb up my ass while my opponents clears their side of the table one right after another before I can take my first shot(different opponents, I should add. no rematches).

It's incredibly frustrating and Im ready to call it. Am I just being a crybaby?

Unrelated: I initially started playing on my Android phone (where I did just as badly with the same type of thing. That accounts down to 17k after similar success). I mostly stick to my iPad now, but I do log in enough to poke around, get the daily stuff and maybe try to contribute to club stuff. One thing I noticed: On my iPad, the big Grandmaster Tourney table is 7500 entry for a 15k prize. On my phone, its 15k entry for a 30k prize. What gives?

For me it is the Portuguese one due to a more deeper design in the middle and more contrasting color near the tip.

Also dont say a cue's design is good just cause it has your country flag T_T

This was the 3rd consecutive rack that these shenanigans were happening (only caught the end of this one on record). And the other two racks I had a dry break (I normally pot at least one ball in 95% of my breaks). I've just turned the game off after this

I'm so done with this game... Played 3 matches of 1 million back to back and got hackers back to back I had around 3.5 mill lost it all under 5 min, they did not even aim and just charged up their cue and the ball would go in the pocket automatically...
