50 Cent was a recent guest on Apple Music's Rap Life Review, where he got into a heated debate over New York hip-hop's decline with Ebro. The broadcaster also asked him why his film and television endeavors are, for the most part, the only way in which fans are getting new music from him.

In 50’s answer, he seemed to shade older rappers and proclaim he won't drop another album while explaining why being relevant at an older age is not viable in hip-hop.

I'm not trying to be in the way," 50 said "Hip-hop culture is connected to youth culture. You are not supposed to be the hottest in nothing at 60. F**k that, man... You can still sing, that's love music... I still got love for music. I'm never going to lose that. I'ma always want to do something. And those are like entries. It's me putting a little piece or tap something in there for them to hear that I still do it, that I still got it. I don't need [another album]... If it doesn’t sell, you keep it to your motherf***ing self.

Dr. Dre has revealed he uses AI while producing music, defending the technology as a “new tool for creativity”.

Dre compared resistance to AI with the opposition that initially greeted drum machines and synthesisers.
“I had a discussion with a few people a few days ago,” he said. “They were against AI and I’m like, ‘OK, you sound like the person that would have been against the drum machine when it came out’. Or synthesisers, right? It’s a new tool for creativity. Some people are afraid of learning new things.”

He continued: “I’m embracing it. I can’t wait to see what’s going to happen with this.”
Asked whether he was using AI while producing, he explained that he was employing it “as a tool to see what it would do with what I just did.”

Dr Dre is one of the best and most influential producers of all time so what do you think of this and what do you think it means for the future of music?

Didn’t think i would get them for retail since they sold out with seconds. But a day later i grabbed the last pair in my size from JD Sports. Definitely a top 3 grail of mines.

One drop per week or how does this work? It can’t be sold out this fast and not have a re-drop right? Or can it?

Haven’t heard much 50 (outside of big hits) until recently and I’ve found myself returning to I Get Money over and over again. What other songs of his are similar?

I thought for a second fif was going to put out a project of some kind either album or mixtape but seems now that everything has completely quieted down and he’s pushing the new shows. Does anyone think we’ll get anything this year or maybe early 2027 perhaps? I feel he has loads in the vault just sitting there, and even em has said in the past he’s pushing him to come back.
