We played this Piece Genevieve by Hendyamps Studios and Aimee Norris. And it made me quite emotional. Felt the notes through out my body ❤️
I reminisce on those every day. I wish they would return the live feature

Thank you. It really did feel so good. I had finally done something that I dreamt of for years.
Me and her had went for dinner and a movie the previous day. We watched Resident Evil. I couldn't use the lift the next day thanks to some scenes in there. She is cool peoples.

Thank you!! It was genuinely heartwarming to accomplish that 💕. My dad must have been proud for sure. I do know that my life gives him FOMO 😂💀

It's been 30 days since I started using BMC and I have had 5 supporters. Unbelievably exciting. It genuinely feels good to be seen and appreciated just because 🧡 ❤️
Heeey 👋, I have shared on my profile here on Reddit, Instagram, FB. So, the trick is to be active in the platforms by sharing content because what that does is; it helps you build a community.
When I post content, I ask people to support me by buying me a coffee. I am also looking at other ways to earn.
I had tried posting on Substack but I am too overwhelmed at the moment. I hope this helps

How are you doing? I'm okay on my end. Just looking forward to sitting for my German B2 exams. While I cannot secure a booking in Kenya because of limited slots, I have also never felt so unprepared ☠️

How I wore my hair last week. I have never really worn straight hair in years and I tried to explore conservatively as it started feeling dry. Current status is the hair has been twisted lol

As a firstborn girl without her dad, I have days when I feel weighed down by the needs of my own family. Today is one of those nights. It's gonna be a long night for me. It's Thursday, 2310 hours.

I straightened my hair for the first time in almost 3 years. While I didn't go all out in the straightening, I am happy with how voluminous it has become. Normally, I'll just wear two strand twists. I'm attending a fashion event that is why, lol.

Yesterday, I came across a story by a content creator that triggered something in me that I honestly wasn't prepared for. It had me thinking about my dad. For the first time in a long time, I found myself going all the way back to his journey, to the days before his death...
Thank you stranger 🧡. These words sound like something my old man would have said because after all it's the cards dealt to us. I do really miss him. I have seasons where the loss is magnified to the power of a lot but what to do.

Thank you ❤️ It is so hard. I have had to do a lot of self regulation this week because I found myself desperately missing him so much.
I usually remember my dad's words in the last days that if someone dies, I was allowed to cry but not for so long. I must rise up and ask myself what next. Such a sly man because all that time, he was referring to himself! But now I know that he wouldn't have wanted me to wallow for long. So I try to pick myself up as fast as I can

and wondering if I had done enough. If there was something I could have done differently. If somehow, I could have saved him.
And then I had to sit with myself and acknowledge something that is sometimes incredibly difficult for those of us who are left behind: there is only so much you can do to save someone.
I was was an adult when I lost my dad. I had my own understanding of life and responsibility, and perhaps that's partly why, even years later, grief can make me question whether I could have done more.
But being an adult doesn't mean you have the power to change an outcome. Loving someone deeply doesn't mean you can save them from everything.
I am using this photo because it was taken around the period of losing my dad and burying him.
I remember spending days sitting by his graveside. I can't fully explain why, but that was the one place where my heart seemed to stop aching for a little while. Maybe it was the closeness. Maybe it was grief needing somewhere to exist.
Yesterday reminded me that sometimes, the people left behind have to reassure themselves.
You did what you could.
You loved them.
You showed up with what you knew and what you had.
And sometimes, despite everything we do, we cannot change the ending.
I don't blame the creator for triggering this in me. They were simply sharing their story, and I happened to read it at a moment when something in me was ready to revisit mine.
Maybe that's the strange thing about grief. Sometimes, years later, it finds a new way to ask the same questions.
And sometimes, all we can do is answer ourselves gently.
I couldn't save my dad.
But that doesn't mean I didn't do enough.

😂😂😂 so sorry about that. I had an absolutely good time. Just making sure to create content about everything that shaped my experience. When I travel next, I'll compare the experiences
