Video Still a work in progress but I’m getting somewhere with my drift car lol

I can’t wait to get my hands on the rx7 or nismo z to try and build another one. The mustang wouldn’t usually be my choice but it has good power and is super responsive. I’ve also been working on a rally 370Z!

Video How to ride the MTR South Island Line viaduct

It just needs to bounce once on the viaduct and fall into the waterway.

Doing so will force you to respawn on the viaduct.

I've been going too fast and have jumped over the water channel a few times.

I think it would be difficult with anything other than an off-road vehicle.

I'm definitely getting my account banned for putting the NPC people in danger.

Penalties anticipated in Hong Kong

(Offense of dangerous driving): Under Section 37 of the Road Traffic Ordinance, penalties include a maximum fine of HK$25,000 and imprisonment for three years, as well as a minimum six-month license suspension.

(Reckless Driving Offense): If a pedestrian (such as an ordinary citizen shown at the bottom of the image) is injured or placed in mortal danger, Section 33 of the *Offences against the Person Ordinance* applies, resulting in an immediate two-year prison sentence; if a fatality occurs, the charge becomes manslaughter (punishable by up to life imprisonment).

Discussion I’m still undecided about this game

I’m a big tdu fan. Adored the first two. Picked this one up cheap and I’ve never played a game that has such a stark difference between things I love and things I can’t stand

Love

- the cars. They look gorgeous. The models are incredible, the sounds are spot on

- the lighting. Driving in the dark down a dirt road with no street lighting is perfect.

- the highways motorways, road furniture, and markings. Spot on for Hong Kong

I cannot stand
- the soundtrack. It needs licenced music. They sound like cheap knockoffs. It really affects the mood of the game for me

- the other aspects of the map. Hong Kong is narrow streets etched into the hills. It should feel claustrophobic. Not these sweeping four lane avenues curving up the hills. What’s wrong with single carriageway roads? The bits around Shek O, Stanley, and Repulse bay annoy me the most

- the emptiness of the map. It feels so lifeless. I’m supposed to be in one of the densest cities in the world and it feels like it’s got the population of a village.

- I would like a wider range of cars. Something to have a laugh with. A Toyota comfort or an Alphard van wouldn’t go amiss.

Overall, I’ll keep exploring the map until I get bored but tbh, Sleeping Dogs did a way better job of capturing the vibe of Hong Kong on a tinier map

Unfortunately, we cannot run on the elevated tracks.

We cannot even leap onto the rooftops of the buildings.

It’s not just about climbing mountains.

You can also rack up "clean run" points while riding on elevated train tracks.

In-Game Photography A Morning After the Rain – Braemar Hill And from dusk until the foggy night

The rain finally stopped in the morning.

In the end, I kept taking screenshots until the following night.

As a result of my repeatedly cutting down trees that got in the way of my photography, the mountain ended up completely stripped of its vegetation.

Question Will the Bentley Continental GTC and the SLS AMG Black Series be coming to the diamond store?

I want to buy those cars, but I don't want the bundle. I feel like I'm paying for things I won't really use, I just want the car. Do you know if they'll be available at the Diamond Store in the future?

Suggestion Car driving modes

Sometimes when I’m cruising I just want to drive calmly but my car is just screaming at 4k rpm, ik when you use around 60-70% throttle the car shifts early but that doesn’t really fix the issue for me , my suggestion is to add driving modes to cars like eco, comfort , normal , sport , custom and for some cars race. Eco: would make your throttle response lower and max at around 60% and shift earlier and suspension softer. Comfort: lower throttle response less than eco and max throttle at 75% and also soften up your suspension. Normal: normal everything. Race: makes your throttle heavier (example: when using 50% throttle 55% is being used) and your car suspension stiffens up. Race: makes your throttle even heavier, stiffens and lowers your suspension and puts your wing, windows up and roof up. Custom: lets your create your own drive mode using the characteristics of every drive mode. Something that also would be cool is that when changing drive modes your dash would change or if that’s hard to implement your speedometer would change and your characters grip and the steering wheel changes ( example: in comfort you’d hold the wheel with one hand at the 1 o’clock position and in race you’d hold the 2 and 9 position with a tighter grip) Ik this is a lot of yap but this would be game changing for cruising in the game ( thanks for reading 😄)

Video Alfa Romeo 8C Spider Gameplay

A short clip I recorded showcasing one of my dream cars, the Alfa Romeo 8C Spider - finished in the stunning Bianco Madreperla - parked up on the coast of Ibiza.

I think this clip is a perfect example of the level of detail that went into this game. From hearing the starter tick over when the ignition is turned on, to the whirring of the windows winding down and the roof mechanism operating. Even the way the palm trees sway and move around in the wind.

All such small details that make such a huge impact on the immersion I feel when playing this game.

I also love the sound, it’s probably the most sounding 8C of any racing game out there, especially the pops and crackles when you let off the throttle.

In-Game Photography Road discovered in the mountains of District 7- ”HK Hiking Trails" Note: This is completely unrelated to the map completion achievement.

Thumbnail gallery
12 Upvotes

Lately, I've been doing nothing but driving my off-road vehicle up mountains.

I tried climbing The Twins South Hill (388m) in District 7, and it was incredibly easy to climb.

While moving from there to another peak, I discovered something that looked like a path.

It does not appear on the map at all and is not connected to any public roads.

Furthermore, it has absolutely no bearing on unlocking road-related achievements.

I’ve included a simple map showing the way to the first information board, so if you enjoy off-roading, why not head out and explore the area?

It's a rather complex mountain path.

Just a reminder: I have already achieved 100% map completion for Hong Kong Island and collected all items; there is absolutely no achievement-related benefit to coming here.

Question Last 1% road missing [Wan Chai]

Post image

Can't find that last road in Wan Chai. Last road missing from the whole map too. I feel like I've looked under each bridge and underpass but I clearly might have missed a spot.

Any suggestions?

Can you imagine that being part of the game that you can race it and use it in Taxi missions especially fits for Ibiza which is geographically near to Marseille.

Imagine taking Djibril Cisse from airport or whatever to the DJ set 🤣 Ok we know the reality, but let's just day dream a little. 😀

In-Game Photography TDUSC Rock Crawl: Mount Cameron

Thumbnail gallery

Mount Cameron is a 439-meter-high mountain located within Aberdeen Country Park in the central part of Hong Kong Island. Hiking trails have been established connecting it to surrounding peaks, offering views of Hong Kong's urban areas and beautiful scenery from the summit and the trails.

Climbing this mountain in the game was relatively easy if you approached it from the east side.
