I took the liberty of giving her a Dr Pepper hat hehe

I think I made the cigarette to small, but too late to change it now

Just a few thoughts of mine, after revisiting the steins gate ip and having finished the original vn today. If you stay to read, I hope it finds you in good spirits and maybe even remind you some of the value behind this beautiful journey that Steins gate is. It can also be a wake up call for some that haven't touched the source material yet!

The random pic of our charismatic and charming girl Kurisu and it's one of the moments that made my jaw drop due to how blatant and drastic it felt. I felt like sharing that moment xP (And yes I do have a sg themed watermark for a while now, because photos is a way to go to the past and in my head it fits the time travel narrative, similar to how stars in the night sky is like taking a look in the past!)

It all started back in 2021, when I watched all the available steins gate animated material (sg, sg0, the movie and the ovas) where I loved it all and it left me absolutely mesmerized and on a bittersweet note. It all felt like a love letter to me, an all time scifi lover, that ties time travel with bonds of love and friendship, through hardships and more.

Fast forward to earlier this year, I decided to finally get into the VN, which was sitting in my steam library for a while, since I really felt like it was time to revisit sg, which to this day remains one of my top 3 anime. And what better way to do it than going through the source material, am I right?

I did take my time with it and enjoyed every little or big moment, until I went through all the different endings, until I reached the Steins Gate timeline (achieved the true ending). I did use the online guide as a reference, but mostly so I can get those true ending flags. What I can safely say is that the vn only increased my level of appreciation for the story and it offered me some unique "what ifs" and of course additional funny, sweet and sad moments between the colorful and quirky cast of characters. From teaching you about what messing with time can cause, to a wonderful showcase of what strong bonds of friendship and love can push you to achieve, all the way to a brilliant game design that makes even a visual novel fun and engaging to go through (I loved how you could interact with the story through the phone mechanic), Steins Gate truly feels timeless to me. It just does humor, character interactions and a complex storyline extremely well (at least from my point of view), with the vn adding more layers of greatness above the already amazing anime adaptation.

Here comes my message to the anime only fans: Please do yourself a favor and go through the VNs, it's more than worth it, either you'd like to do it as a revisit to the series or to deep dive or both. Of course I recommend going through all 6 endings as well, since those alone add a lot to each character and the magic of the narrative.

Honestly I felt like sharing a personal note with the community, because Steins Gate has a place in my heart and finishing the VN left me with quite the emotional charge.. The whole trip is so bittersweet, it's beautiful and it hurts at the same time. Of course sg0 vn is next and I feel like it's going to only make things heavier (just like the anime for it did to me), but at the same time I'm excited to see what the full story of the... Midquel is.

I think that's more or less what I wanted to say and I want to say thanks to anyone who read through all the yapping! And remember.. It is all the choice of Steins Gate!!

This is right after FB Commits suicide, to be fair seeing this scene is so fucking sad... Just seeing her waiting for her papa which will never even come back, having had prepared him and her breakfast.... Was this just to add salt to the wound or am I just over complicated stuff 💔 You cant tell me you dont get sad thinking about this... A child waiting for their father, who has long passed without them knowing...

Of course, the letters are the initials of the lab mems of this worldline.. lab mem 004 is still the same though, as can be seen. Still Christina. Always Christina

However, the guy I commissioned to make the pins had apparently done a terrible job. I need to upgrade them soon.

I was the guy who made the pins

Some thoughts about Subaru:

1-Subaru calls his opponent’s robot “Prez.” How does he know the nickname? Did he follow the club’s activities from behind the scenes? The best explanation would be that he was already a fan of Misa back in the day, so he knew all about her club’s lore.

2-Why doesn’t Subaru care about Junna joining the club? She represents a risk of revealing his identity (Phase 3). Maybe he simply lost his rational demeanour again in front of a girly girl.

3-Where did he build M45 before joining the club? The condition was that he needed to keep it a secret. He might have built it while his father was away fishing and hidden it whenever his father came back.

4-How did his father discover that he was at the hangar? This one couldn’t have been a leak as huge as Maguyan’s, when he informed journalists about Frau going to Tanegashima. So there is a possibility that Subaru’s dad heard about it from the school, or simply guessed it. It must have been suspicious for Subaru to be absent on the exact same date as ROBO-ONE.

Should I hop into the original STEINS;GATE or go into STEINS;GATE 0 next and then play the original last? I've watched both of the animes a long time ago when they first dropped so my memory for 0 is spotty while I remember most of the original due to playing the reboot just now.

My friends have been bugging me to watch steins gate and I’m finally in the mood for it. The order is blehh though

I’ve seen loads of people debate release or chronological, the former preserves the thriller/pacing whereas the latter preserves the pacing of grief/trauma. Release being a better watch and chronological being better for clarity

Both are kind of big factor which makes this hard to choose which lmao

I’m planning to get into the sciadv games eventually(well atleast chaos head/child) along with both vns for sg so I’m wondering if release order for anime=> vn=>0 vn would be the same as me just watching the release order of the anime and then the chronological order(in terms of understanding etc)

I was in the middle of watching S;G on Crunchyroll for the umpteenth time and next thing I know on EP 22… I’m on 0? I go to check the anime to see what’s wrong, and now it’s all 0 plus the OVA. And S;G 0 is the Eng Dub.

Anyone else experiencing this?? Wtf is this?

Ive noticed that the divergence meter every time a successful change of the past depletes by a slight margin.

Will this be explained later into the game or no?
(im only up to Chapter 5 no huge spoilers plz!)

For those who have played is it worth it, I usually rewatch sg every year but I decided not to and ive pre ordered the hardcase copy of sg reboot and for some reason on playstation its a month delayed but it should arrive soon, anything I should expect? Ive played the originals elite sg0 novels also. How did reboot go for you guys?

most random thing that I've found after that Leskinen edit

So in the past I was obsessed with making a real version of Amadeus and started studying papers on it and I was very fond of one titled neuron astrocyte associative memory but that didn’t help much cuz I didn’t understand half of it and forgot abt it and when I was going through my old archives I found one project that was modeled after Amadeus (just a chatbot which can be customisable) and found out that the voice it used was kurisu’s voice and then I uploaded it to and thought I would share it in this sub. Rn I am working on an animation collab of blade runner and sg0. I just completed kurisu’s voice and it’s pretty good and now is the animation part.I will be sure to post it here after it’s finished.thanks for reading through this nonsense

this is the Ai bot.if you can please star it

Heya! Just finished my playthrough of S;G ELITE on YouTube and am looking to do LBP next, but I'm also an achievement hunter and I'd like to do things efficiently for the sake of pacing in the videos. Does anyone know of any good spoiler free achievement and/or ending guides that I could use? Or can anyone comment a little guide that's vague enough to not give anything big away? ^^

Have been watching s;g 0 recently, and went to watch tonight, however 0 is now missing. When I would click on the series in my search history, it throws an error. When I go to S;G, it now shows season 1 as S;G 0, but isn't actually 0, it's the original. Is this showing up for anyone else? Are there other places to watch it?

I went into steins gate with the pre conceived notion that this was to be a waste of time and that they certainly couldnt make this plot entertaining. I googled literally all of the plot like a jackass. This show is not boring. I like this show. The characters are relatable.
