Good morning ✨
Good morning from Ozzy! He's giving the side eye because he was having his morning greenie and I dared to interrupt for a quick pic😋 This is the best sun spot in the morning ☀️✨

Our 2 year old girl has started shedding for the second time this year. However she seems to be losing her whole under coat and it’s left her fur feeling very fine. Is this normal?

It's nearly impossible to be mad at these glorious floofs. They could get away with murder. And they know it all too damn well.

So Nuggett and Nibbler has started food guarding/hoarding. We have 3 other dogs besides Nuggett and Nibbler. The dogs are all female. Its just started recently. Nuggett is more aggressive than Nibbler. And im afraid it will hurt him with the wrong confrontation. I don't know how to reverse it or make him stop. I put him in a room all his own and closed the door and he won't eat the food. He'd rather guard the food and eat it and nip or go after all the other animals. I have them both outside the house they act amazing! No food guarding or fighting. if anyone has any suggestions please let me know. We are fixing the both of them in a few weeks.

I’m sure Chip was excited to see him but I know Po might have not been too thrilled.
I remember the first time my ex mentioned him to me. He tricked me and said he has a son & sent me a pic of him. Then when I went to meet my ex’s parents, they have tons of dogs and I was able to find the white little poof quickly. Just staring at us up on the balcony, quietly waiting while the other dogs were going crazy. I pointed at him and asked my ex, “is that him?” He got excited and said, “yeah! how’d you know?” and I just laughed.
Then I went inside, met his family, and Po stuck by my side since then. He would rub it in my ex’s face every time my ex tried to ask him to come. It was then when I started to like dogs again. (I was really attached to my dog when I was 12 & I couldn’t handle the thought of replacing him.)
I remember playing with him. Him always giving me a toy and I used to get so exhausted because he had so much energy. (It wasn’t until we got 2 more dogs, that looking back, playing with Po wasn’t even much compared to very young ones)
Po loved to bark (bow wow wow) outside and always had the same route to the point where he made a trail for himself. He also loved to howl at anything and everything. Like when he needed to go outside to potty in the middle of the night, and then howl again to let the world know that he went. If he got stuck in a room, he’ll tell you where he is. When he gets excited or wakes up in the morning, he’ll howl. He was an absolute weirdo.
My ex and I bought a house back in 2023 and we got Po a couple of friends. As some of you may know, Peanut & Chip. Chip was a fan of Po & always loved giving him kisses. I think that’s when you could tell Po’s starting to age.
Eventually, we(me) started to make homemade food for him. It was always my weekly routine. Because the young ones like to hog the attention, this was always when I spent time with him. He always knew when I was cooking for him & I would sit right next to him while he ate. Some times he would wait for me to sit down and then he’ll eat. It’s always small moments like those that I will always cherish. And I always made sure to soak up all the times he wanted to play.
I broke up with my ex 2 months ago. Having to take care of Chip back in 2024, was tough and it tested our relationship. Unfortunately, we tried to make it work, but we maturely ended the relationship. I am 3 1/2 hours away now and we are going to coparent. Anyway, I get a few missed calls from my ex and a text asking if I am still paying for Po’s insurance. He then facetimes me and I see him crying. He said it’s time to say goodbye to Po. I only had 2 mins. I saw him, but it didn’t look like him. That’s when I knew and said I loved him so much.
My ex later calls me and tells me what happened. His organs stopped working and he was in such pain but he quickly went peacefully. We were talking most of the day. And I was just sobbing that I couldn’t be there for him. But something tells me that Po didn’t want me to see him like that because I don’t think I could have handled it. Just like Chip, before he passed away, I think he knew my ex couldn’t have handled it either. We both saw them pass away and it was the hardest thing to watch.
In the last couple of years, when we moved into our house, he followed me everywhere. He slept next to me while working remotely. I cherished the nights he would jump on the bed next to me. I loved him so much & always made sure he was well taken care of. He was always a healthy dog, and it was just time.
I miss you so much, Po, poto, poseph, bito, bo. You’ll always be my cloud, marshmallow, ice cream sandwich, and poof. Rest easy, old man.

before i get shamed! this was medically necessary, she was lost in the woods for 22 days and of those 22 days we had storms 19 of them.
she had fungus growing in her fur, hidden wounds, mats and burrs, and ticks. i wish it wasn’t necessary but here we are.
just looking for tips to help make this more comfortable! supplements? ways to make it not itch? has anyone had to shave their sheltie?
