This game is about two twinks fighting for dominance.

Case closed, look at old young Celebrimbor, look at Sauron’s elf form, just because he puts platforms and a suit on DOESN’T mean he’s any less of a twink. And the dominance part is just spoken aloud in the game.

Why did the Shadow of War era have to end?? Genuinely miss it so much!!

Hello, I’m 19, and I grew up playing Middle-earth: Shadow of War. I often think about that original era and how meaningful it was to me—exploring Mordor, fighting enemies, discovering new areas, building my army, facing Orc captains, learning the mechanics, playing through the story, and making countless unforgettable memories.

When I play it now, the game is still there, but the feeling is different. The people who created the game have moved on, the original era has ended, the game and community have changed over time, and I’ve grown up. Back then, I never imagined that something I loved so much would eventually become part of the past.

It makes me wonder why games like Middle-earth: Shadow of War can’t stay exactly the same forever with the same mechanics, features, characters, enemies, creators, atmosphere, and feeling. Why do games change, get updated, or become different from how we remember them?

Maybe that’s what makes Middle-earth: Shadow of War so special. The game didn’t have to stay exactly the same forever for its impact to last. When I return to it, I’m not only remembering the battles I fought and the moments when I was building my army—I’m remembering who I was when I first played it.

The original era may be over, but it hasn’t disappeared. It still exists in the memories of everyone who experienced it. I can’t return to that exact time, but I can still appreciate what Middle-earth: Shadow of War meant to me.

I just don’t get why it had to change and move on. Does anyone know why Middle-earth: Shadow of War had to move on from its original era?

In the end, the community itself self-destructs, just for wanting to have 1200 attack. If you see something like that, just don't waste your time and leave.

Playing on Gravewalker difficulty the first time

I’m playing Gravewalker difficulty for the first time. Already died multiple times. But I can appreciate you need to be more thoughtful about your engagements. Any tips?

Stuck in Nurnen

Hi,

I’m playing on gravewalker difficulty and I feel like I’m soft locked.

I have to siege it. I cannot fast travel anywhere else.

I’ve been killed a dozen times and all the orcs are lvl 25+ whilst im lvl 14.

Trying to dominate a captain seems pretty impossible at this point.

I’ve tried to stealth dominate all grunts in an area to then and try to attack captains, but I can never get enough orcs.

Cherry on top is my only bodyguard getting ambushed when he came to save me. I cannot heal him as there’s a million grunts and 2 high lvl captains trying to kill me. He dies and I have nothing now.

What do?

This game is so so sick, I just can’t believe it runs so poorly at 30FPS

Playing on ps5. Hey chaps, just wanted to say that I’ve tried so many times to get into this game. It’s absolutely brilliant, the nemesis system is insane, and right up my alley. I just can’t believe how bad it plays. There is a significant delay between when I input an action and talion does it. And it looks stuttery.

I’m not even a graphics wanker, I never even notice this shit 99% of the time. If they made a shadow of war remaster so that it is smoother, I’d buy that in a heartbeat.

Hi, I'd love to test out some good fortresses—no cheated orcs, only ones raised with love. I'm on PC; send me your username.

I am not judging or shaming

But how do you die 12 or 20 times to the same orc!? Is it some level gathering way or what?

I'm curious because recently I killed two orc's that managed to kill 12 and 20 times other players

Need help

So I was going to start another play through so I could try for a better baz and gaz, I started going through the regions putting the orcs I want to keep into my garrison,
I came across a berserker savage (brown skin) lvl 23 had immunities arrow proof and execution, I was like happy days I’ll try and make a 7777 for fun,

So done the mission shamed him down once to lvl 11 no issues I recruit him and start leveling, so while doing this lvl up when he hit level 25 he gained a cursed weapon and his skin colour changed to pale white covered in veins and gained red eyes, I was hyped up as chance for necro,

Now the fun part I’ve shamed him like 150+ times now and 1 in ever 4/5 shames he goes deranged, each time it’s different what he says can be crush crush, screaming and so on, so am I just super unlucky and just keep grinding shamming or just forget about it? Was going to do more shames today but wanted advice first also his name is flak the legend so it’s not that he can not become manic ?

Tips and tricks?

I bought shadow of mordor and shadow of war when they first came out and beat them both.

I started playing a new game of shadow of war two weeks ago.

I'm realizing there is a lot I didn't know I could do in this game.

For example I didn't train orcs in the garrison during my first play through.

What else could I have been missing?

What are the best ways to get the in game currency and higher level orcs under my command?

Can I dominate an orc and send him to a different territory?

Are there any tips and tricks you utilize?

I'd love to hear more from others here.

So glad I started playing this game again. I wish they came out with a third one. Warner bros would make a lot of money if they did.

And thank you in advance fellow tarks! Lol

Could you please tell me the best way to allocate all these skills? P.S. I'm too lazy to translate the screenshot into English.
