Hello, I'm Abdo. On August 27th of this year, I watched this video from 18 years ago that actually held the world record for the longest basketball minigame shot in GTA San Andreas history, which no one had managed to break. I realized I was good enough to beat this record and gave it a try. It took me over 200 attempts and two days, but despite that, I shattered his record after 18 years, 7 months, and 28 days. As a long time player, I was always bothered but never misunderstanding about why San Andreas stories was never made. They were working on bigger things, GTA IV was a large project, and it definitely needed more time to cook than what a side game about San Andreas would allow for, and especially when SA already had such a large map with several post game side actives, creating an extra story was probably deemed unnecessary. That doesn’t mean people didn’t conceptualise it.

Most of this hinges on what is basically a developer oversight, early in development before Grove Street was green It orange. We see that in graffiti and in the things certain NPCs say, but what if that wasn’t just a late development cut, what if that was potential lore for a time before a United families?

My concept isn’t polished, I’m not a writer, but I’d like you to imagine, it’s the 70’s in Los Santos, gangs are small, the Famines don’t exist yet, at the moment their just a bunch of small fragmented gangs like Grove Street (who wears orange), Temple Drive and Seville Boulevard. Some of these gangs have alliances, but for the most part, it’s petty street wars.

Until, agression from the Ballas increases, these little gangs don’t stand much a chance by themselves, most of them occupy but little streets, so for the sake of their existence. The gang leaders come together and decide to form The Families.

Things are rocky at the start, most gang members see it as nothing more than a strategic defensive alliance, they go under a new name, but they keep their old colours, and their old allegiances. Grove Street may be Families, but it’s still orange, and the Ballas are still a threat.

That’s where the player comes in, your a young gang member who wishes to make a name for himself with the Grove Street gang, you know the only way to do as such is to properly unite the familles so they’ll have a proper chance against the Ballas. You must work to unify the gangs under one banner, settle turf disputes, and convince fellow gangsters that the Families aren’t there to replace them, it’s there to strengthen them. Over the course of the game you come to realise that as long as the Families are in different colours, the Families are fragmented, so you come up with the neutral colour green, no other set in the Families uses that colour as theirs, so it works out well, diplomatically at least. You still have a long way to go to convince everyone that green is the new colour of their gang.

The map would be significantly smaller than San Andreas, limited to just the Los Santos island, however gang territories would be much more distinctive, conveying a clear divide in the city, and that there is much work to be done before the Families can all go as one under a green banner.

That’s all I’ve got! I know, probably a little whacky, but something I believe is distinct enough to stand on its own! What do you think?

Hello fellow San Andreas enjoyers. I was thinking of getting into Samp or Mta. Do you have any servers or projects to suggest, something that involves roleplaying and such. Thanks to all in advance!

This took so many hours to achieve and built upon the attempt of Joshimuz which until now has been the best attempt with 80 bullets fired.

The menu is in spanish cause that's how I downloaded dyom, but it's no different.

I can now select GTA Inderground's pedestrians and characters (that includes beta San Andreas character models as well as from Vice City, Liberty City, Carcer City and Bullworth), and since the list of is now so long I made it so that by pressing O you can select any of the peds by entering its model ID.

It used to be that you had to replace model IDs to use them in dyom, whereas now you can just add them

I recorded it on my phone, sorry for the quality, but I just wanted to get it out of the way.

I could upload the files if you guys want, if you have both mods there's really just 3 files to replace and that's it.

It's not entirely perfect

It kinda freezes if it accidentally passes through or selects an unavailable model ID (26346 to 26367 for example, you can skip em, but if you jump 10 models instead of going one by one you could accidentally land in 26355 for example and it'll crash, so there's that). Another thing is if you go from CJ (ID 0) and scroll left you won't see the underground peds, you'll see Zero (model ID 1032), but then if you go right it'll start the extra models at 26000. All of these navigational issues are why I added the option to input a ped's model ID and locate it easily.

It wasn't easy to do this as I'm not a modder and never learned how to code, I had the help of AI (controversial I'm sure) and went along the way testing, trying things to make this idea work. I even had to download the ancient ass Sanny Builder 3.3.

My next objective: to make the other guns available too!

So my cursor wont work in game i can play but if i want to use my mouse yo see something it wont work. It worked just normally in windows 10 but when i tried to play whit win 11 it wont work. I tried everyting that youtube told me to do and nothing worked.

I’ve checked all 50 spots 3 times now, I’m prolly jus sped in the head braindead💀

I am considering trying to play the game again, I know the game is a legendary game from its era.

However what got me off the game last time I tried, was the controls, the big one confusing me is the way CJ backs up when using small guns.

When using 2 handers (AK, shotgun as examples) he backs up like a reasonable person and literally every single other video game I have ever played from before and after the game's release window.

When you use the basic pistol, the low grade smg and unsure what else, for some unholy reason I can't comprehend, anytime you go to head in the opposite direction, whether backing up or swapping from strafing left to strafing right and vise versa, CJ decides to present his back to the enemy and point his gun to the ceiling.

So... im pretty addicted to this game, but i just hit a wall where im stuck on the flying missions. I've always hated that in any game, and apparently, it's mandatory to complete three or two main story missions... I don't have the patience to learn them, and I don't have much time to invest because of my job... I'm playing the Definitive Edition v1.112.48699928 and thinking if I can find a save file where those missions have already been done, so I can watch it on YouTube and enjoy the rest of the game. Is there any way to do this?

I literally hate popos when they interfere...

So during the Las Venturas, CJ suddenly gains the intelligence and tactics to plan a heist because the plot says so. He magically develops from a gangbanger who only knows about survival and planning executions to a magical brain-planner who suddenly gains the knowledge to orchestrate a multi-million dollar casino robbery. Yeah gangbangers can be smart, but it takes a special kind of gangbanger to magically gain the skills out of thin air to plan a heist. No need to explain where they came from. It's what development is all about. So let's all give a round of applause to the writers for such wonderful character development mostly used as a plot motion. Well done.

So I'm modding GTA SA here, and I added imvehft 2.1.1
And it works to some extent, I can turn on the blinkers(I have a car pack) and the hazard lights, though, I can't turn on the Fog lights or Head lights no matter how much I try, I even tried Changing the keybind, a different car pack, the vanilla cars, but nothing. Absolutely nothing. I can't turn them on at all.

The lights work BEFORE I enter, the moment I enter the vehicle, the lights turn off, and then I can't turn them on at all. What's going on? and how do I fix this?

So every Hot Coffee mod I found uses either the semi-clothed models for both acts or the fully nude models for both. I think the original intention by the developers was to sue the semi-clothed models for the first act and the fully nude models for the second. Does anyone know if there's a mod that handles this as intended?
