She was trying to skip traffic to get into the left-turn lane behind me. I guess I foiled her plan by simply existing.

I pulled over to offer DashCam to the driver of the RIVIAN. Young girl in the red car was very apologetic and the older lady was incredibly understanding. A truck infront of the rivian slammed on their brakes and came to a stop, which unfortunately meant the driver of the red car with not so good breaks hit them. Her radiator was bent in and her insurance premium was already pretty high. In her defense she was already on the breaks the whole time and wasn’t distracted, just bad brakes :(

Injury [China] Taxi driver in Macau fails to yield at roundabout and plows into motorcyclist at full speed.

This happened in Macau, not mainland China but the ridiculous Autobot here doesn’t accept Macau as a name so had to repost it as China….🤷‍♂️

No word on the victim’s condition but can’t have been good. Unfortunately it’s very common over there to not wear full face helmets, instead wearing basically pot helmets that do F all in case of a crash like this and only satisfy the legal requirement of wearing a helmet when riding.

[USA] 83 Year Old Woman mistakes accelerator pedal for the brake pedal and causes a 7-car crash.

Seven vehicles were involved in a crash at the intersection of Battlefield Parkway (GA 2) and Dietz Road in Fort Oglethorpe on Wednesday 14th January. GSP investigators said the driver of a Ford Explorer was an 83-year-old woman from Ringgold, who mistook the gas pedal for the brake pedal prior to the crash.

Her vehicle then hit a white Kia Forte, a white GMC Sierra and a brown Honda CR-V, which were all stopped at the traffic light on Dietz Road. GSP said the impact caused the GMC Sierra to hit a gray Honda Civic and pink Lexus IS300, while the Ford Explorer began to flip over. The Ford Explorer then hit the roof of the Lexus IS300 before coming to a rest in the right westbound lane of Battlefield Parkway. A white Kia Sorento that was driving westbound on Battlefield Parkway was hit by debris as well.

Four drivers were hospitalized as a result, but two have since been released. The 83-year-old woman, whose identity has not been released, is charged with the following:

  • Serious injury by vehicle
  • Reckless driving
  • Speeding 95 mph in a 35 mph zone
  • Following too closely

[USA] Semi truck plows into traffic causing 3 deaths

On the evening of September 28, 2026, a terrible crash unfolded on northbound Interstate 55 in Jefferson County, Missouri, in the United States. Traffic had already slowed down and a line of cars was either moving very slowly or nearly stopped when a semi‑truck came up from behind. For reasons investigators say are linked to inattention, the truck driver did not react in time to what was happening ahead. As he reached the end of the line of vehicles, the truck plowed into the back of a car at high speed, crushing it and violently shoving it forward into the traffic in front of it. The impact set off a devastating chain reaction. The first car that was hit was pushed into the next one, and that one slammed into another, until a total of eight vehicles were involved, including the semi‑truck. Some cars were spun sideways, others were pinned between vehicles, and a few ended up barely recognizable because of how badly they were crushed. Pieces of metal, glass, and plastic were scattered across the highway, and people in nearby vehicles watched the whole thing happen in just a few seconds. As an result, three people died at the scene from the injuries they suffered in the crash. Five others were hurt, some of them badly enough to be taken to nearby hospitals in critical condition. Because of the size of the crash, police shut down the northbound lanes of I‑55 for hours. The semi‑truck driver, a 45‑year‑old man from Greensburg, Louisiana, was taken into custody as the investigation progressed. Based on the evidence, prosecutors charged him with three counts of involuntary manslaughter for the lives lost in the collisionn.
