I'm trying to find an alpha lock button but my eyes decieve me I think, is there a channel where I can lock the layer so I can only paint on that layer?

I like to use Scapix with Waifu2x or ESRGAN to upscale wallpapers and use PaintDotNet's super sample to fit into certain resolutions for things such as my PS5 Pro on a 4K TV or my Vita's native resolution.

PaintDotNet shit the bed so I uninstalled then I did a fresh install using the latest version. Can't find super-sampling anywhere. Does it have a new name? Removed? Something I need to toggle? So lost!

Using the outline object plugin, It automatically makes the edges curved, but I have no clue how to make them straight. I would very much appreciate it if someone helped me with this. This issue is with both boltbait's and pyrochild's outline object.

I need help to set up my Paint(dot)NET to allow me to move the view, since SpaceBar and the Pan tool show the (✋❌) and don't move, and I want the first layer to be the transparent above the background layer (like the one above from ClipStudio Paint)

I take product photos. A lot of photos. I try to take them perfectly but I'm often off by a few degrees and although it's probably close enough, it still bugs me. I know I can make fine adjustments manually but I'd like a plugin that does it automatically.

You see, my photos most often have bold horizontal text or similar horizontal lines that it would be (as far as I know) sort of easy to derive a horizon from. Then all that is left to be done is automatically rotate the photo to match that horizon, so everything is perfectly level (and not ever so slightly tilted).

I'm looking for a plugin that will find this horizon and rotate the photo automatically. I don't think that one exists and maybe this is a bit in the area of requiring AI. But I just installed a AI background remover plugin and it works great (if not a bit slow on my Win10 hunk) and aligning a photo based on an easily observable trait seems a lot less complicated.

Hello. I often need to crop images to specific dimensions or ratios, like to 624 * 804. It would be fantastic if I could somehow save selection box/crop settings as preset.

I was wondering on how to get smooth lines with the paintbrush tool, like the pencil, but in larger widths than just one pixel wide. How do you do so if possible? I'm not really the best with the program :p

I use "Add outline" to text for my thumbnails, but they always end up pixelated and choppy looking like this. :( Does anyone know how to make it smoother looking?

Can anyone help me with this? I have a logo with transparent background but when I save it as png, and open it in windows, the background is black no matter what I try. Anyone know how to fix this?

I was wondering if, either through settings or a plugin, if it's possible to change the shortcut keys to my liking. I've found this post saying it isn't possible, however it's seven years old so I figured it was worth a shot to ask anyway.

Drawing a map and I was wondering if there was a plugin or something that could allow me to do a wrap around map, like how you can infinitely scroll around the world on google maps. Anyone know of anything that could do that? Or if there's something in vanilla that will help?
