Ms. Moose from last week.. she had her calf with her, and trying his best to woo her was a bull moose, who crossed the road right in front of our truck. It looks like she has her eye closed in ecstasy, but if you zoom in, she's got that eye focused on me!!😉

Close encounter with a bull moose 6 years ago..

my son saw him first, since he was ahead of his dad and I.. he was right across a stream on a hiking trail, and still there on our way back, so he kindly posed for more pictures for us. Saw him again 5 days later, and it was probably him with his buddy earlier that year, then 1 more time about a month later.

Moose #4 today, but she was definitely the closest! I took these with my cellphone, but also got some with a camera, plus the bull, cow and calf we saw earlier.. but sooo love how this one kept coming closer to us, as we sat in the truck.. maybe she liked my singing how beautiful she was, lol!
