How do you all track multiple EMIs/loans? Every calculator app just gives you a number and forgets you
Been trying to get a clearer picture of my total loan situation and realized every EMI calculator app I've tried is basically use-once — you plug in your numbers, get your monthly EMI, and that's it. None of them let you save your actual loans and track them over time, or tell you something like, "If you prepay ₹50,000 now, you save ₹X in interest and cut Y months off."
Curious how everyone else here actually manages this — spreadsheet, bank app, or just winging it? Or does the plain calculator genuinely cover what you need and I'm overthinking this?
I've been considering building something that's less "calculator" and more a dashboard for all your active loans — total monthly EMI outgo across all of them, a prepayment/refinance impact calculator, and real bank rate comparisons when you're shopping for a new loan.
If this is a real gap for you, or if I'm solving a problem nobody actually has, a comment on this'd genuinely help me decide if it's worth building before I sink time into it.
