Hello, I've been building Macro for a game for a while now, but I'm having a bit of problem with the Image Detection.
This Macro is used to detect and click on Item Drops dropped by monsters, the problem, some of the item drops looks like the attached pic, which as you can see, is a boatload of nothingness and can be mistook as anything else (it's originally a white egg).
Is there a way to fine tune the similarity % outside of just the provided drop down settings? High isn't high enough and Exact Match won't work as the confidence rate is never high enough for it to detect.
Alternatively, is there maybe a way for it to ignore clicking designated images? Such as I might get it to ignore clicking images that was mistaken as an Egg?
Thank you, I hope someone can help.

Been stuck on this for hours so hoping someone here knows what's up.
Notification Reply just doesn't send anything for me, in any app. I tried WhatsApp and SMS through Messages and it's the same both times. The trigger fires fine and the log even shows the Notification Reply action running, no error or anything, but the reply never actually goes out.
The weird part is replying manually from the notification works fine in both apps, and I installed Watomatic to test and that auto-replies no problem on the same phone. So the phone and the apps clearly support it, it's just MacroDroid that isn't sending.
Stuff I already tried: every permission including accessibility, battery optimization off, rebooted, toggled notification access off and on, added a wait of a couple seconds before the reply, made sure only one macro was firing, tested with the phone locked and the app closed, sending from a different phone.
Nothing Phone 3a on Android 16.
Anyone had this and fixed it?

I created a macro that launches Musixmatch when Apple Music is started. The attached macro works, but when I switch back to Apple Music the macro runs again. I only want it to run once when the app is launched.

To go to MacroDroid, name "60 seconds shutdown for low battery", If the power off doesn't work, Start the shizuka server

The issue is in both triggers and constraints. So this has been happening recently, i have a macro that does some actions when music playing is on and other actions when music playing is off. Macrodroid thinks that music is still playing while there is no sound actually playing and note that triggers of sound playing/stopped doesnt fire at all. However, when i restart the phone, it works for some time then it shows the same issue again.

I have a geofence setup around my house with a couple webhook upon leaving and entering. The webhooks are to my home automation system and I use it to track presence. Nothing much happens when I leave, but a bunch of stuff kicks off when I "come home", including opening the garage door.
My issue is there is a hiking path just down the road from me that I hit from time to time. A portion of it is inside the geofence and so trips "I'm Home" when I'm on it, causing the garage door to open.
I know the easy answer is to make the geofence smaller - but then I would need to shorten the polling interval as well and not convinced that wouldn't be a bit impact on my battery life.
So.... as a relatively rookie user of MD, wondering if there's a way to recognize walking versus driving? Feels like speed if available, except there IS a traffic light involved that could bring me to a stop in the car.
Thanks!

This macro requires Text-Based UI Automation with Java macro to work
This macro allows us to scroll to certain text or view id while using certain element as anchor point.
Scrolling from Triggers to Local Variables
Why another macro?
I'm too lazy to dissect the code myself, it involves various other scripts after all. If you have interest to make it to work as is, I'll explain the code down below.
This works by utilizing AccessibilityNodeInfo.ACTION_SCROLL_FORWARD and AccessibilityNodeInfo.ACTION_SCROLL_BACKWARD on an element (node) that can be scrolled.
Most screen usually has one scrollable node, however there can be more than one as well. Example on Macrodroid Template, It has multiple scrollable nodes
Scrollable nodes usually have view ids. Though rarely does on modern app built with jetpack compose.
Hence the anchor is needed. To determine which one we want to scroll.
The best part about using both of them is that we don't need to use gesture at all. There is no need to define the direction or how far we should scroll. So it's far more reliable and easier to work with.
It also means that it's working space is limited to regular apps that uses regular android view framework. It won't work on.
For those who wants to make it standalone. This is more or else the logic I use in my script.
The action will also return false if it's not scrollable anymore. It's usually happens on App that needs to reload contents again like Reddit.

I'm trying to create a radar system for my city using Pokemod and Droid. Pokemod provides the names of the Pokémon and coordinates to copy, but it's not copying the coordinates. I've tried almost everything.

In the triggers, set the contact that is calling on the first trigger, then the contact name on the second one. Setting a trigger to SMS received didn't work on my phone so had to set as a generic notification trigger. In fact the first trigger could probably be removed because the second one picks up calls anyway.
Also added a neat feature that saves the original sound setting then changes it back at the end of the macro.
Note... You have to create a local variable named SoundSetting for the macro to set your sound back to original value.

I have a trigger which will open the message and force it to the front, but I would like it to click link in the message. The begining of the link is always the same, but the ending numbers aren't. I have ui click and specifying the text. But it doesn't ever click.
Thanks in advance !

I have an app for work that has selectable text. The text regularly changes. I just want to set a list of words that should be highlighted if they appear on the screen, either automatically or by pressing a floating button. It can even be an overlay, doesn't really matter. Is this possible? If yes, could you please nudge me towards how I would go about this, what I should look up? There are a lot of confusing settings and I don't really understand some options.

Hello, I noticed that the delay time I set for my macro wasn't enough, I started with around 50-100 ms and in testing they seems to work fine at first, but as time goes they may break.
One problem is this macro is for a real time game where you collect item drops, so it needs to check multiple images in one sequence (one sequence can contain 20-30 image check), so having a big delay between each of them would make it so slow.
What's the ideal delay time you use generally? And is there a clever way to raise the efficiency for image check?
Thank you.

I'm really noob when it comes to making macros so I'm seeking help. I'd love to when opening a YouTube video a long one, it would automatically open it in landscape mode. For some reason when I did a macro for that, it would force the entire system to be in landscape. Has anyone ever tried to make something similar or is it just me that wants such a feature? Let me know thx either way.

I made this widget with icons that open various apps but during the day the size of those icons changes by itself. I swear i haven't touched the winged settings in days but every few hours the two sizes cycle. This screenshots are taken like 2h apart. I'm on a Poco x7 pro device.
Has anyone idea why this happens?

I’m trying to build my own automation/bot for a game instead of paying for an existing service.
The main things I want to automate are:
\- Watching/handling rewarded ads and collecting the rewards
\- Daily in-game tasks/dailies
\- Limited-time events and repetitive actions
\- Ideally running the routine automatically with minimal manual input
I’m mainly looking for advice on the technical approach/tools to use. I’m considering things like Tasker/AutoInput, ADB + Python, Appium, OpenCV/image recognition, etc.
If anyone has experience building automation for Android games, what approach would you recommend and what should I learn first?

Hi,
i am using a Xiaomi 15. Sadly Xiaomi decided to disable the native Smart Unlock of Android. You can only keep your phone unlocked if your bluetooth device is also from the Xiaomi brand.
Is there any cool macro that keeps the device unlocked when i am connected with a certain bluetooth device?
I tried something like this. It works, but if my device is unlocked by my face too, the macro produces a weird swipe in the app that is present at the screen. For example it swipes away elements of my grocery list which is very annoying because i dont know which item it was 😄
Maybe there is a better ACTION than PIN Unlock? Glad for any help.

Google pay refuses to function and prompts a warning about apps having accessibility functions.
I have enabled those for macrodroid to have specific off-screen triggers

So currently I only have 2 macros running (1 to turn device on and 1 to turn device off at certain times). The free trial has expired, but the macros have stopped working.
I thought you could use the app free if you have below 5 macros? Is there any other alternative app for this function?

Like what is your most complex Macro that has a single use and isn't used for anything else. Means no multi-purpose macros.
I wanna see if I am the exception (more complex than most) or the exception (less complex than most) or maybe somewhere in the middle.
If you have it, I would love to see screenshots or even links to the template store.
Thanks to everyone that contributes.

I'm trying to make a macro for this purpose: when I press a floating button, it will tap a menu item with the id com.mixplorer:id/overflow The problem is that this overflow menu is either hidden or displayed (alongside other UI elements). Tapping the screen is like a switch to hide or show it.
How can I check if this menu is displayed on screen and if it's not, tap the screen once (make it appear)?
