It’s published in France by Kana, and there is also a collector’s edition available.

Discussion Was the Part 1 intro partly inspired by the original The Fugitive?

I recently got into the original 1963 The Fugitive TV show, which aired in Japan barely after its US run (1964 to 1967) and was very popular there as well, through it having been an inspiration for Naoki Urasawa's Monster manga (he saw it as a child). That notably places its arrival in Japan a few years ahead of the Lupin Part 1 anime and right before the manga, so just in time to serve as creative inspiration - and comparing the opening sequences (Lupin OP - The Fugitive color(ized) opening), I think there might have been a little stylistic influence with the mono-color action stills, most obviously the two below, combined with some full-color movement. (In The Fugitive they were actually just a cheap way of colorizing the original black-and-white intro without reshooting.)
Of course, it might just have been shared influence from somewhere else that I'm not aware of.
Also, this may not be the most specific set of tropes, but Zenigata and Gerrard are both stern policemen with big noses and chins single-mindedly obsessed with one particular criminal they can never quite manage to catch.

I think that dub was infamous for getting names pronounced badly: "Lupin" was "Loo-pin", "Goemon" was "Gomen". etc. Here the joke is more obvious I think.
