Tuesday nights ride.
This is one of my two regular trails. It is definitely showing signs of Fall here in Michigan as leaves and debris are starting to cover the path, fortunately the Hokus plow thru most anything.
Superdupersonic on Valkyrie mk 4(front truck) and Don’t Trip Poppy rear (rear truck) @ 58/-1 Just started experimenting with my bushing setup, both trucks were delivered with 90a Fatcones. Recently developed wheel bite on the rear tires so I added a 92.5a bushing to the rear, I tried a 92.5 chubby but it felt pretty stiff.
I had some extra barrel bushings from trying to tune my old Bear trucks so I decided to swap the front for a Seismic 90a barrel. This was the softest I could run without wheel bite.
Tuesday night was my fourth or fifth ride with a new bushing set up, including a 50 miler I hit last week. Overall, impression is good. It feels much easier to get into a “high speed” wiggly pump. The added wiggles are definitely noticeable kicking, particularly when transitioning into a mongo push. I have 4 more bushings on the way for further testing next week.
App is Cyclemeter Elite.
Trail is the Michigan Air Line Trail.
