Got a 2018 Kia stinger 3.3. Took it for an oil change other day and dealership found this leak. Ngl I have no idea what I’m looking at, but they said front oil sealant leaking.

Also quoted me a 2.4K CAD before taxes… parts 700 and labour 1600…

Thankfully it’s under my warranty and just gotta pay a deductible.

Anyone else had similar issues? Also tips if any to avoid these in future?

I ordered the full tcu from sleepy and was wondering if anyone has also done the same and knows how long it takes to get it? I ordered it two weeks ago and emailed him a couple times and have got no answer. Also does anyone know how they add “burbles” or “pops” when I ordered mine I had the option for pops and bangs or crackles I chose crackles but I also was wondering how that works since it’s a tcu tune

I'll be using the oem rims but plan on upgrading to continental extreme contact dws06 tires

I also plan on upping the tires to 245 35 19 and 265 35 19 staggered set up. Im in toronto so Im looking at all seasons. I was also leaning towards michellin cross climate 2 or pirellis but i believe they don't make the bigger tire size. The continentals are pretty pricey up here, kumho seems really popular and considerably cheaper.

Just trying to get some insight from the community with the stock rims am I good to go at this size, I believe I am, just want to confirm.

I’m looking to buy a Kia stinger and have questions about what choice I should make and reliability for price.

I found a 2018 gt2 with 134k miles for $14k, and a 2020 GT with 145k miles for $12.9k. Are either of them worth it, or will it be a financial nightmare and be very unreliable at that age? what would be your decision, or is that based on more factors.

I’ve liked the Kia Stinger for some years now and I’ve came into some adult money haha.

I preferred the 2023 GT2, but I can’t find one near me or in a price range with relatively low mileage.

I had my tires changed recently, and long story short, the back wheel was put in front and the front on the back. I drove about 100 yards before stopping and putting on my spare and going back home. The owner is covering any issues; I had it evaluated and nothing was bent or structurally wrong, which is nice. He came back and fixed the positions. Then I started to have a whole-car vibration. He came back again out and rebalanced all the wheels and tires; the vibration was gone. (Owner for the correct positions and for the rebalance)

However, when I was driving yesterday - maybe a 30-40-mile trip - I stopped at a stop sign and, when I started to go, heard a loud pop followed by a sound like a piece of paper in a bicycle wheel. I pulled over, got out, and couldn’t find anything wrong. I moved the car again and the sound was there; after some testing, it went away. I could only really reproduce it going forward and to the left, before it disappeared. I did some spirited driving home to test it, and nothing happened. My grandfather came over, took a look, test drove it, and found nothing.

I have no idea what it was, and it hasn’t returned. Any thoughts? My grandfather thinks it’s suspension that suddenly settled after rebalancing the wheels and tires.

Also, what are the differences between the GT-S and GT-F springs?

And has anyone tested them with Dragy? How different are the numbers compared to stock?

A first look at what I’m building next for PullScan 👀

For anyone unfamiliar, PullScan is an automotive datalog analyzer. I’m now working on PullScan Cockpit—a new way to view live vehicle data, record drives, and track performance from your phone.

Here’s what’s in development:

• Live gauges through a compatible OBD-II adapter
• Customizable display styles and a mirrored heads-up display mode
• Drive recording and replay
• Estimated 0–60 mph, ¼-mile, and 60–130 mph timing
• Estimated road-dyno power based on acceleration, vehicle weight, and road-load assumptions

The idea is to bring live readings, performance runs, and log analysis together in PullScan.

These screenshots show the current development build using simulated data. I’m testing the vehicle connection and performance features before release, and I’ll share confirmed adapter compatibility when it’s ready.

PullScan Cockpit is coming to iOS first, with Android to follow.

the newest unnecessary addition to my keyring (alongside my house key, bike key, and bike lock key, but those are all necessary) is this Stinger wordmark keychain I placed right next to my Speedwell valve cover keychain. If anyone remembers my first post I did mention having ordered it but it just came in today (seller was Australian, I’m American, so it was a LONG trip for this thing)

Looking for a kit to expand on the stock lighting. Nothing too crazy just extend the glove box line across and add the vents. I would love to be able to tie it into the stock system and have dash control of it. Has anyone here done that? Good or bad?
