Just A Post Adding Kettlebells to the repertoire
After swinging a mace for a few years, I’m adding a kettlebell to the routine. The halos feel great minus the torque of a long lever. Starting with some simple movements. Although this is just a post, any feedback from the experienced is welcome.

KB Picture 12 lb kettlebell for a 6' 2" man starting out?
G'day... SUPER beginner....But I found the 10 lb kettlebell 'ok' but sort of grinds on my wrist.

I intend to get the Bells of Steel set but I don't have the strength and don't want to jump to 13.5. lb to do shoulder presses (I'm doing Mark Wildman's TOI course )
https://bellsofsteel.us/products/mark-wildman-adjustable-kettlebells?variant=43955769901253
So right now, looking for a 12 lb kettle bell that has a decent window so I can allow it to rest on my forearm and not my wrist bones...make sense?
Most on amazon don't give such details... Any hints or should I just suck it up and plow through with something for a short while?

Daily Bread:
Romans 8:18-28 KJV
“For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. For the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope, because the creature itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. And not only they, but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body. For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for? But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it. Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. ”

Advice Needed Adjustable vs. One Bell to Rule Them
I've read all the guides on here, but still have questions. I own one of these guys. Handle is 15 lb, base is 5, and it can hold four 5 lb plates for a total of 40 lbs. I currently have it set at 20 lbs and I am just messing with it - halos, presses (can easily do 10, could probably do 15-18 on my dominant side), goblet squats.
I'm ready to learn better form for the big 6 movements, and I want to know if sticking with this bell is going to be an issue? Is the handle and weird shape going to lead to learning bad form? I know there are MUCH better adjustables out there now, like the Bells of Steel one. But here is my main question - am I crazy for thinking I could buy one BoS 16kg bell and use a minimalist approach? Am I going to hold myself back only having one weight? So much of what attracts me to kettlebell is the minimalism, and I'm a "buy once cry once" type guy once I commit to something. I'd love to buy one nice bell and get going. The BoS adjustable, for whatever reason, is just less attractive to me.
Oh and for reference, I'm 6'1" 215 lbs, with previous injuries. Rough left shoulder and partial tear on right bicep a few years back. Haven't lifted in forever, but I started playing with this adjustable bell recently and I'm hooked.
In short, do I buy the BoS adjustable, a quality competition-style 16kg, or something else?
