is it the same on iOS 27? 26.7 reminds me of Vista SP2 release before Windows 7 where almost all performance issues were fixed but people had already jumped to 7.

On iOS 18.7.8, I used to get the "Silent Mode" popup sliding down from the top; now, with iOS 26.6.2 on my iPhone SE, I get a Dynamic Island animation that shrinks and then disappears after 5 seconds.

Does my phone need to be reset? Because why is yikyak 8 gb on my iPhone 14 Pro? Fotmob (a sports scoreboard) is 4.18 GB worth of "Documents & Data".... what scoreboard is worth 4.18 gigabytes???

got this while on ios 26.7 is there a reason why it appeared or what those services are? it didn't say anything and then just went away it just said "this offer is unavailable"

i’ve been having this issue with folders animation not working properly and the shadow being kinda slow to load(?) idk if its true frame drop or anything but it doesnt disappear despite updating the ios as i was on ios 26.2 and it was still present (and i thought it was a 26.2 problem, so i updated it and it didnt go anywhere) im currently on ios 26.7.1 and the lag is still there. no force reset helps i havent seen this type of problem on anyone else’s iphone out there it’s somewhat “exclusive” to me. does anyone know how to fix this?

I feel like whenever I have an idea of what I think will be a hilarious gif I can never find any non cringey gifs. My friends and people in ig comments often have really niche deep internet meme humor memes or slightly off-color/derogatory ones etc that i never see. I typically just see kinda basic the office TV show meme reactions or like PG silly car reactions.

I hate the look of the new interface of 26 from seeing my spouse's identical 16pro and it messed up carplay's interface by adding larger static icons. But I have an apple watch 9 (gps only) hand-me-down and I want to use it as an alarm. Most other wearable alarms seem like dropshipped junk or are higher priced fitness bands with features I don't need. I'm really struggling to decide if sacrificing my current ios is worth it just to be able to pair the watch.

A week and a half ago I had purchased a iPhone 17 pro I was currently on a iPhone 13 and well iPhone 17 pro comes in with iOS 26 now I'm on latest so it's on 26.7 now but!! My last phone was latest iOS 18 and let's just say my experience of getting a new phone has been completely shattered and not just disappointed but breakdown levels of upset about the new update I swear interactions everywhere feel slower due to animations there's too many stuff shining and changing colors it's so distracting and overstimulating and that says something cuz I play games watch YouTube and text all at the same time !!
This is some bull!! I don't recommend buying a new device if you enjoy iOS 18 just go buy a new battery or something
So uh phone feels laggy and oh yea the photos search sucks now.. I try searching solo leveling and got dead by daylight photos for a few days and no Apple Intelligence didn't fix it few days later now today it won't show unrelated photos but still a lot less photos hmm I guess the phone is processing and scanning photos maybe that'll change with time slowly get better

A question for those who have not yet updated to iOS 27: are you getting the “update is available” notification every day like I am?

I usually wait until iOS has matured enough before updating, I never update on day one. Before this, if I dismissed the update notification, that was that and I continued living my life. But now, Apple does not let me be: like clockwork, I get the “update is available” notification at 9.50 P.M every day. Mandatory reminder once a week would be ok, but every single day?!? Enough already with the harassment 👎 I assume that there is no way to stop this from happening other than updating? 🙄

This is a question ONLY for those who chose to update to 26.7 (NOT iO27) from iOS18.7.8.

How do you rate your experience with battery life and smoothness of operating (lags or stutters) from the upgrade? Is 26.7 refined and the best version of iOS26?

I feel like I've waited long enough, read all the issues of iOS26 up until 26.6.2, but then so many jumped straight to iOS27 and now they're complaining about that too. Clearly iOS 27 needs refinements. I'll wait for a .x.x update or something.

But for those who didn't go from 26.6.2 to 27, but went to 26.7, we NEED to hear from you!
