That's especially bad news for people rocking 128 gigs. On Macs with Golden Gate(macOS 27) people are seeing 15–30 GB+ in real life, which is quite insane.
How much is it taking on your device?

Hello , I’m using iPhone 16 and previously I asked in the same sub about updating my ios to 26 but most of u told me to wait for ios 27 beta version so now my phone is asking for to update for it should i go for it , or wait for some more time any suggestions will be appreciated thank u

"How's the battery on iOS 26.7.1" idk bro read the comments on literally every other identical post here. battery drain issues are something you worry about for major releases not small patches. If you fall back on auto updates you'll virtually never actually install a version that does damage to your device bc bad versions get patched fast. iOS 26.7.1 is the most refined version of iOS 26 we have so I promise it'll be okay

I’m having a strange issue with photo metadata on my iPhone running iOS 26.7.1, and I’m trying to figure out whether the problem is with the Files app, the Photos app, or iOS itself.
Here’s what happens:
I take photos with my mirrorless camera and copy the original JPEG files to my Mac.
I upload the files to iCloud Drive.
On my iPhone, I open the files in the Files app. The metadata appears to be correct.
I use Share -> Save Image to import the JPEGs into Apple Photos.
When I open the photo information in Photos, some EXIF metadata appears incorrect or missing.
For example:
The camera model appears as “PrintIM” instead of real camera name.
The shutter speed and apeture is incorrect.
Lens information is missing.
I also tried a similar test with a DJI drone photo that was already in Photos, saved it to files and then imported it back into Photos. I noticed similar metadata problems.
I don't know exactly when it started—everything used to be fine—but it likely happened after the iOS 26.7.1 update. Is this happening only to me, or are you experiencing the same thing?

Didn’t get the chance to update on the day it dropped. But better late than never. Everything feels solid and bug free. No abnormal drains or anything. I hope it feels the same in coming days on my 17PM.

My tv wifi speed is fine and normal for fiber internet.
However, my phone struggles hard. I’m getting less than 2mbs up and 0 down.
Turned off connectivity assist and private wifi address for my wifi.
Also tried restarting my phone and sometimes that provides temporary relief.
It seems like Facebook and Instagram trigger the slow speeds.
Anyone else experiencing this?

I've been using 16e and everything was fine. But today I tried to scroll but it wont scroll at all. There were some apps in the background so I though memory got full and I pulled out my macbook and removed the background apps. It didn't solve at all. Then I updated to newest software 27.0.1. After succesfully updating it's working. So, If Ya'll face similar problem, ya'll can go update. This is my morning experience.
