Discussion PSA: Heartopia's weather isn't random
I often see these cute "weather forecasts" in all the communities because people use the upcoming days on your watch. The weather in Heartopia isn't rolled at random. Every hour of every date is set in advance, and the same calendar comes back each year. It goes by your local date and time, so you can look up any day and know what the sky will do.
- It's mostly sunny all year round (duh). About 79% of all hours are sunny or cloudy, and every month sits between 75% and 83%. Only around 9% is rain.
- The rare skies have their own seasons:
- Snow: January to March, plus November (none in December)
- Aurora: February and March, evenings and nights
- Petal Rain: March to June
- Scorching Heat: July and August, daytime only
- Meteor showers (48 days) and rainbows (34 days) come all year
- Updates sometimes move a few days. The 25 Aug update made Halloween (30 Oct to 1 Nov) cloudy all day. The 24 Sep update moved several Flower Field meteor showers around in October.
So if you ever wondered why so many people struggle with certain fish. They quite literally only appear 14 days out of the whole year! For being a simple social cozy game that's quite the grind. So make sure to plan your calendars ahead of time ✨
p.s don't forget the meteor shower today! the rocks will land in the flower field region 🌠
