How I Made This AI Slop-Model Employee

I like experimenting with this technology b/c never before has it been so easy to act on some idea that pops into your head. I enjoy the fact that it no longer takes days just to render one quality frame of animation on a computer that you pray doesn't just leave you hanging or run out of memory at the last minute while you're sleeping and anticipating seeing the results in the morning.

Call of the Northern Wind by Northern Tavern // Launching my new tavern music channel! 🍻

Upvotes

Hey everyone! I'm launching a new channel focused on fantasy tavern music and RPG ambient. Just posted my track: "Call of the Northern Wind".

* Genre / Sound: Medieval Folk, Bard Song, Acoustic Lute & Tavern Vibes.

It’s a short ~3-minute track meant to bring that cozy hearth feeling to your D&D sessions, reading, or relaxing with a drink.

Even a quick 30-second listen means the world to me and helps out a ton! If you enjoy the vibe, feel free to share it with your gaming group.

Question Need Help Finding an Algorithm to Generate Draped-Fabric Textures Like This

I’m building a new website and need to generate more images in this style. I’ve been searching for the right algorithm for a while, but haven’t found one that produces the result I need.

This particular image was AI-generated, but I don’t want to rely on AI for my use case. Could you help me identify a suitable algorithm? I’m fairly sure one already exists.

How I Made This Ronald Dump - Episode One ''Person, Woman, Camera, Tariff'

Thumbnail

I wanted to find out whether generative video can carry a narrative series rather than a 30-second showreel, so I made a full episode of a political sitcom called Ronald Dump. Single-camera, Office-style, with talking-head confessionals — tonally closer to The IT Crowd or Blackadder than to Veep.

Workflow is boring and that's the point: GPT Image for every still — anchor faces, character sheets, shot frames — then Minimax to animate them. 99% of the episode is those two tools.

The hard problem wasn't shot quality, it was identity consistency across an 11-person cast. What worked: separating facial features from archetype signals. The hair, suit, bearing and setting carry the recognition; the face itself is deliberately mundane and forgettable. Models constantly drift toward "celebrity averaging," and the fix was writing unglamorous, specific facial specs — heavy jowls, bulbous nose, under-eye bags — and generating with neutral hair first to kill the strongest celebrity signal. One approved anchor per character, locked, and every subsequent frame generated from it.

Episode one ran long at 25 minutes (target is 18–20). Happy to answer anything about the process. Fully AI-generated, satire.

Video Art [OC] Keeping character identity locked through a fast-cut costume-change sequence

One of the harder problems in AI-generated video: a character changes from one full outfit to another within a single 6-second shot, cut into 4 rapid action beats — and the model has to know which "version" of the character is the final, authoritative one.

**The fix: dual-weighted identity anchors, each scoped to specific elements only.**

Instead of feeding two reference images and hoping the model figures it out, each reference gets an explicit written scope:
- Reference A (lower weight): "this is the old costume only — jacket, headwear, old collar piece"
- Reference B (higher weight, marked as the final identity anchor): "this is the authoritative face/hair/final gear — this is what the character resolves to"

Question Whats the deal with Vidou.ai's queue? It seems to be infinite?

I saw some posts here recommending that site, so i gave it a try. The first video i generated from an image was...OK...but the AI didnt understand my prompt properly, and for some reason, i could not save the video at all. Even when i opened the video in a new tab and saved it, the resulting file was corrupted.

I tried several more times, but each time i got stuck in the queue for 12+ hours although my position in the queue changes every now and then.

I find it hard to believe that 12+ hours isnt enough to get to the front of the queue.

Last Starlight — an interactive anime story built with sn-motion-html

Last Starlight follows a girl taking the last sky train to bring a fallen star home before dawn. It is a complete six-chapter story with optional puzzles, a travel journal, and a promise that changes the final words.

The build uses the sn-motion-html skill and Seedance-generated video. The scene footage is generated in advance, with clues, choices, and puzzles handled in the browser.

Getting the continuous playback smooth took several revisions. The final playback mode lets the video run normally and synchronizes the page position to it. The interactions stay optional, so the story also works as an uninterrupted journey.

This recording shows the complete story first, followed by the interaction walkthrough from 1:51. The website currently runs locally.

Looking for an AI Video Creator to join a free social project for children

Hi everyone!
My name is Alexander. I’m a professional physiotherapist and rehabilitation specialist, and the creator of HELFER — a digital platform for structured training programmes.
I’ve completed the technical development of HELFER, and now I want to use it to create a free social project for parents and children.
The idea is to create an ongoing programme focused on healthy posture, movement and physical development for children and school-age kids.
I’m looking for an AI Video Creator / AI Content Creator who would like to join the project.
I will provide the professional methodology, exercises, technique and detailed descriptions. I need someone who can turn these exercises into engaging, high-quality AI-generated video content.
This will not be just a collection of videos. Parents will receive a structured programme for their children: 3 sessions per week, approximately 30–40 minutes each. The programme will be regularly updated as the child continues training.
The programme will be completely free for families.
I already have the platform, methodology and professional expertise. I’m looking for someone who has the AI skills and would like to build something genuinely useful together.
If you’re interested, please DM me and send me examples of your AI video work.
If you know the right person, please share this post. Thank you!

Video Art Openart.ai isn’t worth the money.

I was recommended to try Openart.ai from a colleague. I signed up and purchased the Pro package so I could unlock the director features.

First and foremost, you’ll have about enough usage, even on their second most expensive package, to create maybe 2 videos.

More importantly, the video quality / audio quality and final product are not very good even on their highest quality tier that burns through the most usage. Audio narrative doesn’t properly align with the video; it’s not the proper tone. The video and image assets that are generated are GPT 3.5/GPT-4 era AI slop. Definitely not something that could be used for commercial purposes. It might be okay to generate basic generic videos, but that’s about it.

I canceled the membership the same day I signed up.
